:Had a dumb crash yesterday morning right before lunch, and screwed up my right hand. Couldn't ride in the afternoon, with the size of my thumb I still can't grip the bars today. 1 1/2 days of Whistler riding missed, head home tomorrow![]()
I am not sure what it is I tried the mount I had on with the Marzocchi's but it aint long enough to get the Hayes disk to mount on it, I dunno its hard to explain its just not quite long enough so I am gonna take it to the local shop to make sure I get the right one.
And the dust caps are important to finish this baby off XD, but the gits round my area take everything they can get so I might get some black bullet caps and put some anti theft grease on em, get some payback when they try to get their dirty hands on em ^_^
where do you leave your bike where people have access to he dustcaps ?
Hi guys looking for some advice, I've picked up a Carrera Fury 2008 with a 20" frame. Went out for a quick ride today and it feels like I'm sitting too far forward. I'm not sure if this is because it's a new mountain bike and I'm used to an old 18" frame or if it's the actual geometry of the bike. Does anyone have any advice? Bit worried about trying anything downhill as it seems I'll be sat right ontop of the handlebars.

This is where it feels abit short, does anyone have any guides/measurements of other 20" frames that I could compare it to?
Cheers
My Carerra Kraken felt mega short as well. My newer bike is a 17 and feels vastly longer, the 17" Kraken had a layback seatpost like yours too but felt really squished up and short... maybe a characteristic of the bikes?
Hmm possibly, what bike did you replace it with?
