yup, speaking to a couple of my reps and apparently Giant, and Merida ( the 2 biggest bicycle compainies in the world ) are going to absoloutly destroy everyone in their 2012 ranges.

Even though my new bike hasn't arrived yet I've already got my eye on something meatier. What would you be looking at for purely lift assisted/bike park duties - a freeride bike or a full on dh?
The 2012 specs and prices are already out and the £1249 Defy is Tiagra.

Also the frame weight will be more than 799g. The 2012 TCR Advanced SL frame weighs 820g but that costs £3,500.
