I am looking into a dropper post peeps. Cant decide what to go for. The Reverb has been the keen favorite from the start really, but i can see lots of other rivals being released now. Any thoughts?

The KS Lev looks nice and seems to get some positive reviews.

I need to be fitter.

Got myself one of these and im thinking about getting a road bike just to increase my fitness for mountain biking.

Anyone else use a turbo trainer? anything to help pass the boredom of using one?

Just noticed on my Hope M4 that on the 183mm disc it isn't using the whole surface, its definitely a 183 adapter as well, any ideas? Its as if the adapter is a little on the large size.

thats odd then, i use avid adapters (203mm post to post front and 185mm IS to post rear) on my m4's and they make full contact.

daft question, do you have any spacers/washers in there?

Are you sure you've got the calliper installed correctly? Check the washers are in the right place, another possible explanation is your fork disc tabs might not be faced so your calliper is pushed out by a mm or two.

Nope will get a picture later, the pad overhangs the disc by a few mm, and doesnt make contact with a few mm of the inner part of the disc.

Are the pads wearing evenly? IE any unworn bits on the pad.

I have the Hope saw rotors and it looks like the pads overhang a bit, but if you rotate the wheel slightly you see the tip of the rotor perfectly matches with the top of the pads. I also have a few mm of the inside of the rotor which doesn't make contact, but if the caliper was any lower the top of the rotor would hit it.

Question for those running tubeless, how long does the Stans fluid last in the tyres?

Brakes wise there is about a 2mm lip on the pads so its not making full contact.

If it's the old Hope M4, then it's 185mm rotors you need IIRC. Although not recommended, the different size rotors do work. Sure I ran one a few years ago.

Currently have 8month old Stans in my tyres on the Blur. Don't use any on one of my UST tyres. :D

There Tech M4 brakes so not that old, just fitted my old 160mm adapter and 160mm Hayes disc and the pads line up perfectly.

I wonder if its the disc, i have the Mono 6 Saw disc,

Any pics? Just checked and my back disc does not line through with the top of the pads either, the front does though. Bike still stops ;)
