Yeh that was something else I dealt with, you get some old inner tube and slid it up the post, and then attach the mud guard on top of it.

Seat posts can cost stupid prices too . You can also mount it on the frame below the clamp (you can just pull the clamp off), and put some tube between the frame and the guard.

true thats why i dnt wanna scratch them. paid a lot for my raceace seatpost. its the only thing left from my stolen bike as we took seats and posts out. so i now have a spare sdg bel air zebra skin lol.

on the new bike im getting a thomson post deffo dont wanna scratch that

Not a bad idea, but I hate the sticky residue leccy tape leaves behind. It sucks to the extreme tbh .
