Sounds amazing! What wasn’t in the mini dessert platter?! Tiny chocolate mousses, cream cakes, pastries. Shame I didn’t take a photo really! The buffet on holiday was very well stocked.
Well. My first day of being healthy hasn’t gone to plan. MFP is showing 1738kcal over target.
The kids had white toastie warburtons in. So I managed 4 slices of toast for breakfast and then more for sandwiches at dinner.
Then had a big roast for tea and in between my mother in law brought me some cream cakes and beer as a late birthday gift!
Yep. My doctor weighed me when I saw her on Monday. Currently 34.5kg but I'm only 4ft 11 and a half inches.Well, you say good way...
Actually weighed yourself yet?
It has been horrendous to be honest! Hoping a new medication will help shift it but it's not been fun and I've been extra miserable and moody!@Alice In Wonderland Oh god that sounds awful though!
Hoping today is actually the start of being healthier. Have just thrown out the suggestion to the wife of skipping lunch. Having porridge around 11am and then just waiting till tea. We always struggle to think of stuff to do for dinner so this might work for us.
Should not have read this while enjoying my pot of chocolate mousse...But after 5 days of nothing, 2 cups of bone broth yesterday (as I read it can help heal your stomach) and today, it just kept on coming!! Lol!!

I weighed 300 lbs April 21st 2022, today I'm 217 lbs. Weight loss has slowed drastically because i've been cheating on my low carb/cals diet far more often.
I would love to pin an exact reason (excuse?) down but can't. I'm not any more hungry. In part it might be because I'm no longer very fat so the will to diet is less, my will power to resist carb rich junk seems less than it was. I have a health check up by a nurse at my doctors surgery on 24 th July, by then I would like to be 200 lbs or as near as possible to it, i've set myself this goal.Thats a decent drop even if you are cheating on some the days..
Why is the question, hunger, no will power, convenience?
I went from 250lbs to 165lbs in 11 months without dieting at all, i still eat the same junk i always did, what worked for me was 1-2 hours of cardio pretty much daily.I would love to pin an exact reason (excuse?) down but can't. If you can manage them at present, prunes and prune juice also will help, as does a good quality flaxseed. It has been horrendous to be honest! Hoping a new medication will help shift it but it's not been fun and I've been extra miserable and moody!
Although if any of you are constipated, I discovered that having proper bone broth, helps you go!! It's the collagen that wraps itself around or something like that.

Just cut the cake in half then you can eat twice as muchAll the Turkish food from last week appears to have worn off and I’m back to 89kg this morning. Got a weekend on call so that might help to kickstart a final push towards 88kg as an average rather than a low point. As long as I don’t get frustrated with work and eat ALL THE CAKE.
