Just get on and do it, i never once read the highway code, not even when i learnt to drive, just don't look down and always look to where you want the bike to go, don't forget, every time you move off, do a life saver over each shoulder and i mean every time.![]()
just goodluck and listen to what the instructors tell you, remember your riding system ect
on your test the instructor might throw you a wobbly and tell you to turn right into the next street ect when its clearly a one way street,so look out for things like that
I had that happen on my test
@clovis im not too oldand anyway I gets the cheap insurance haha

Hopefully we'll both ace them! I'm a bit useless with usernames. Are you the member who just put down a deposit on a sweet looking SV650?
You with Nottingham road craft?
Why's your first day tomorrow when your test isn't for 2 weeks?
Fingers crossed Mother Nature doesn't do one over you. I had a month between my first 2 mod1 training days and genuinely felt the second day wasn't needed
So, how did it go? The CBT is like a gateway drug, gets you hooked before letting you onto the proper stuff![]()
You 'passed' though right? CBT is nothing more than making sure you're safe on the road, they can't teach you much or give you hours of training. If you get a 125 of your own that's when you really learn how to ride.
Are you going to do DAS or straight onto a 125?
Do you feel confident getting onto a 600cc after today?
It should be both brakes to slow you down and then come off the front brake, using the back to control your slow speed and then either knocking it into first or neutral depending on what you want to do. My left foot is always ready to be put down when I'm doing under 5mph.
