What's the best way to listen to music while riding? I don't want to spend loads, I tried headphones earlier but they came out when I put my helmet on.

One of these, bluetooth headset https://www.amazon.co.uk/Interphone-Bluetooth-Motorbike-Motorcycle-Headphone/dp/B00JA80PEO/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1461278725&sr=8-6&keywords=bt+intercom

They're good for music up to 60-70mph, in a loud helmet. If you only need it for music, you only need one - £65 is for a pair.

or a pair of shure se215 earphones, these are flat and should stay in your ear.

The bluetooth headset is much easier, although the sound quality isn't as good, but it won't affect your hearing as much.

Those headphones  They look like a right pain! :p

I have the SE215's and they are a massive pain when taking the helmet off.

You linked to the same one I did (the pair) :p

Go to bed! ;)

Lol it wasn't that one when i copied the link! I have been at work since 2pm so i have an excuse! :p

1xBT 500 Meters Intercom Waterproof £29.58 is the one i was looking at.

Nah they're meant to be very good, the shape should mean they're less likely to fall out and they don't stick out much. Still more hassle and faff than a bluetooth headset though

Clovis, get the £35 one, the 800m rounded rectangle shape with the round wheel/button - I'll vouch for it being basic, but very decent for the price. Mine hasn't died in the year or more I've had it. I think I got it bought for me last Christmas, so that's 16 months and 13,000 miles of commuting through winter.

I've really enjoyed the last couple of days decent weather, Been going out with a Group called Leicester Chilled Out Bikers a good bunch with loads of local knowledge so I've just been following & enjoying all the decent roads/routes. Great to have a few folk to chat to about the journey once there & after I'll definitely be doing a lot more with them this year.

Its fiddly, but if you take your time it's not that complicated. Just make sure to check that you unscrewed all screws as some are hidden. I've reused the original foam from the OEM tail light and stuck it with super glue exactly as it was on original.

You won't get an exact fitment, there'll be gaps...

This was just after I put the pannels back together (No screws, just those little black push clip things :p) with the light to see how it would look. :)

I personally like it, I mean look at Dat ass  :D

Edit: I've bougth a Chinese tail light from Ebay, I bought it from this exact seller (can't comment on how long it'll last though, so far its all good). Here's how it works when bright sun is shinning on it. :p

There're cheaper ones on there now, for 12-13 quid. The one I bought was the cheapest at the time...

Cheers mate, not sure about the gaps though that would get to my ocd eventually. I'll have to have a look around and see if it's common with all the aftermarket ones.

Really want one of these http://www.helmetcity.co.uk/x-lite-x-802rr-ultra-carbon-shiny-mesh-blue-015-free-visor/ don't have a spare £380 or any reason to need a new helmet other than shiny syndrome.

Honestly don't know. There's not a single perfect bike for all scenarios, ideally i'd have 3 but apparently we have better things to spend money on :p

One thing i do know i want though, more power and torque. So i'm looking at things from Z800, Speed Triple, CB1000 and some KTMs, Triumph Sprint, zx1000sx etc

And the bike that's made it to the top of the list....

CB1000R

I'm looking at around 2012-2013 models.

125hp
100 Nm / 73.8 ft-lb
Fully Adjustable Suspension
Very well priced used
Single side swing arm
Looks the ****.
Well reviewed
