The SV650's are taking over! Loads of you lot have bought one in the last few months!
@tom_e, Do you have tank grips on your SV? e.g. http://static.twisted-throttle.net/...99/c/o/copy_of_suzuki_sv_650_snake_skin_2.jpg
I have a bike lined up, been looking at it for 3 weeks and as long as its not sold in the next week and I pass MOD 2 on Friday I will hopefully pick it up on Saturday

Yep, not fitted though as you need a hair dryer or heat gun to get them warm enough to stick and I own neither. To be fair even in my leathers I don't really find my knees slipping anyway.
Don't mess with the sv gang
Suzuki schmookis
Picked up my new bike today.
A 1979 Beamish Suzuki 250
It was up for £1800, I got it for £1650..
Has a V5.[/URL]
I don't like them. It looks like they're missing fairing. Guy at work's got one and I asked if he'd dropped it, hence no fairing. He had a tear in his eye.
I think you can get a faired version, that looks cool. Something about the front on the naked just makes it look like the rest is missing. It's different to other nakeds.
Yeah it's a very nice bike. Much cleaner than mine too. She's a bit dirty at the moment

Here's a picture of my SV650S The fairings were attached when I bought it, apparently something crazy like £400 for genuine Suzuki fairings.. I wouldn't have had an S with only the top part of the fairing, personally really don't like that look. Although, it doesn't look so bad with a belly pan.
