Oh god, I've found another bike that I want to get. Think I'm in love with the Honda MSX 125. They're really cool.

Haha I've got my R6 parked outside! They just look like a lot of fun. It was actually a picture of a modified one which really caught my interest.

How cool is that lol.

Went out for a good long ride with a mate today. Just got back and looks like my visor has cracked. Only about 1cm long but it's gonna need replacing!

What's the cheapest way to be able to maneuver a motorbike in a tight space? I need to store my bike in the corner of the front garden. Ideally I'd use an Abba Skylift but they don't have adapters for my bike or the bike I'm hoping to buy plus that's an expensive solution. I'm thinking I need a motorcycle dolly but the ones i've found only works with bikes with Centre stands.

What sort of space are you talking about. There are cheaper versions of the skylift without the ability to lift so high, like the 1jac.

Or a rear paddock stand with wheels like this http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/92416

I went for a long ride this evening, then on the way back home decided to stop at a carpark to practice some mod1 stuff.

I rode to the bit I usually use, and came across this:

:eek::D

I didn't think they'd appreciate me doing figures of 8 by their car, so I rode off and found somewhere else :D

For a long period of time, or to park it up? if it's long, just ride the front/back end in to the corner and lift the other side with someone as close as you can. That's how my Hornet is stored at the moment anyway.,

You're surely not going to want to put it on to a dolly or something like the sky lift every time you park it up?!

Depending on how things go with my new job/jobs I'll either stay an occasional commuter or only ride on my days off so I need to be able to leave it for up to a week or so and I don't really have someone to lift it in out of the corner when needed.

Yeah that looks like it'll do. From the looks of it, it'll have to stay outside under the bike so I suppose I'll have to rustproof it somehow.

Bear in mind that on a dolly it'll be a lot easier for someone else to wheel away!

Yes and No. It'll be in the corner of a tight small front garden chained to an anchor and alarmed and you'd need to take it off the dolly to get it out of the garden as there's a fairly large step and I can't see those castors doing the job so you'd have to make a god awful racket to steal the bike which would be right beneath the main bedroom and outside the living room.
Plus on my road it's almost 100% guaranteed overnight there will be a car in front of my house blocking anyone from removing the bike, which is why I have to park it on the street right now.

Nice ride in to work this morning, roads started to dry up about a quarter of the way in and now my back wheel isn't kicking against the warped disc I was able to give it some beans round the bends :D

Wouldn't mind a Grom myself, they look like a lot of fun :D

They really do. Been reading up on them quite a bit and they have a huge following it seems. Shame they're only a 125 but they look great and with a few mods, especially a nice Akrapovic exhaust, they really look the part.

I don't think the other half would be chuffed with me turning up with one though
