My car is 5.5s to 60 :D

I'm jelly of the Impreza, the interior is sexy.

I get those calls too, I just simply tell them to F Off. :p Afterwards if not private number, just use in-call blocker which is by stock in the ROM I've on my Nexus. :D

Edit @wazza300, you've said you're getting a car yourself lol. Couple people on here have a car and a bike... I've been driving my dad's saab 9-3 250bhp for the past couple days on temp insurance and I've noticed that I actually need a car.
My immune system is crap, I can't ride all year... :(

A bite of what though?

They keep wanting me to claim I suffered discomfort.

Yeah that's what I should do.

They want to see if they can talk you into claiming because they then take a chunk of whatever you get, as has been said it's just a general phishing call I get them and I've never been in an accident or claimed on any form of motor insurance.

Bloke just called me determined to get me to say I was in discomfort for 8 weeks, claims I'll get £4000 if I say that to a solicitor, its tempting but sounds bloody dodgy plus the accident was dealt with almost a year ago.

You're lucky to get that if you lose bits of you, never mind suffering some discomfort. He's talking complete **** to put it nicely and they're the reason everyone gets hammered on insurance because some people believe them and then spend everyone's time and money trying to fight for something they have no claim to.

I had one for ppi, they was telling me to say this and that n I thought yeah it'll be me they do for fraud if it goes pear shaped,i just put the phone down

too good to be true

To be honest as the chap immediately admitted liability and didn't cause me any issues I didn't claim I was injured or in discomfort, the one time I was injured and suffered real discomfort the chap didn't admit liability and I didn't have any camera footage to prove it, I'd have sued the crap out that bloke though and wouldn't have felt guilty.

Anyway I put the phone down and will just ignore it now.

It's funny how they try to play mind tricks with you, as if you were some kind of idiot that just falls for it... They clearly ask you questions from which they make up their little story.

*sniff sniff* what's that I smell? Ignore them, they're talking ********. They will be calling hundreds of people a day in the hope of getting 1 or 2 (no offence) stupid people who have had an accident and are willing to go along with the scam.

Ignore, tell them to **** off, hand the phone to your 3 year old and let them talk to someone their own IQ level, tell them you'll just be a minute and put the phone on the side and see how long it takes them to realise you're not coming back... basically don't give them any more than the time it takes to hang up.

hehe, but only cos im struggling to carry my gf:D

Started doing some eBay searching to fix up a few bits on the YBR before it goes up for sale in a couple of months, it seems everyone drops these on their left plenty of right hand plastics available!

Also put an offer in of £250 for some colour matched lowers for the SV, I know it'll be rejected but thought I'd give it a shot.

you have a car when you become too old weak and feeble to ride bike anymore:p or your a fair weather wimp haha

I don't think we really need any unnecessary car vs bike here.

I bike when I can outside of tours, but my car is brilliant. I can just get in it with my office clothes on, and my route to work at normal time is mostly all in 30 mph limits with a few breaks of 40 mph. The bike saves me 5 minutes journey time and adds a lot more hassle on top. Car every day of the week for my daily commute.

You miss the smiley face ?

Forgot my gloves outside and it appears an animal or someone has decided to cut one of the fingers off.

Is it too soon to be buying thinner gloves or should I just buy another pair of thermal ones?

looking at a few ~£30 nothing fancy just something to hold me over a bit longer. Such an idiot.
