I'm in Brum with no garage and my 125cc cost £625 fully comp... I'm 35 too. Checking insurance on more powerful bikes for when I pass my DAS has flagged up quotes in excess of 1200 .

Yeah I turned off Avast for a second with that site. Anyway so it's not just me then with the insurance.

Nah not for me. I dream of moving to a more affluent area probably Westminster, in a nice flat overlooking the river, probably still have trouble with the bike being stolen though.

I find confused to be the cheapest comparison site, for car and bike.

I can get TPFT for my SVS for £200 and some change, that's in a C postcode parked on the drive although it's actually hidden away in the garden behind a locked gate.
Still £700 odd fully comp though!

Just got a quote from Bennetts for renewal for the CBR....£637! (or £62 a month)

Comparison sites have the best at £232...but it's MCE. Am I right in thinking that's a no go? Next one is £100 more expensive.

That postcode grade thing isn't gospel, apparently I went from a D* to C but my insurance actually went up a little.

And definitely avoid MCE.
