I don't get the point of those exhausts tbh. Why even bother with a silencer? It probably does so little in the grand scheme thet it may as well just be a straight out pipe

Got my self a new jacket for winter. Went to j&s and got an alpinestars jacket, reduced from 170 to 118, was well chuffed!

Picked up some new gloves today too, bks saturn gloves, 60 but very comftable and not too clumsy either.

Washed the bike and used the fs365 to protect from corrosion while I use the bike over winter. I assume I just spray it after every use/second use?

FS365 works best before every ride on the bits that are prone to rust and/or lots of dirt and after every ride (once cooled down) on the same bits. So you're building up layers over time. Some people say they go months without washing with this method. I couldn't. I still wash every week, and it definitely helps stop the mud/road crap sticking round my swingarm, link pipe, exhausts and downpipes.

I've got an SC projects. Loud and pops, crackles even with the baffle in. Baffle out is just mental :p

I've heard them on an R6 and a Speed triple and they sounded awesome, not a fan of some short exhausts but the crt is awesome

Aesthetics mostly, they reduce the back pressure slightly, a straight through pipe will do the petrol consumption no good at all.

Why are you talking about winter? Stop it! It's now basically summer :D

Had my new front tyre and bearings fitted yesterday, still a weird sound coming from the front end. Thought it was the bearings on their way out but obviously not :o looks like tomorrow is hunt the noise day but at least now I don't have the fear that the front end is going to lock up and spit me off.

Had the calipers off last weekend bit mucky but all moving fine and pads are wearing evenly. The wheel seems to be spinning freely and not catching. Noise was starting at almost exactly 30mph but since the new bits it does seem to start later and isn't as loud.

And so it should :D #feelthegrowl
I didn't do it on purpose, it felt out whilst having a hoon with my mate. He told me that loads of sparks came from right hand side nearby the exhaust. :p

Edit

Last day for my warranty, it felt out just before it ends. Apparently there was a recall, so I'll be getting an improved baffle that hopefully won't fly out my exhaust. :p :D

Think I'll be ordering one then! Tis a shame as I already spent £90 on the R&G one when I got the bike. However, it means I can get some of those nice Triumph alloy LED indicators and they'll fit properly. The R&G indicators are really bad quality, make my whole back end look cheap.

Plus I'll take the chance to get new front indicators as well (same alloy ones) and fit a proper LED relay so I can get rid of the mess of wires and resistors I have for the current tail tidy (the resistors have already broken once).

Will be a nice little (expensive) project :D

Only just saw that Clov!s got another street, get that SC can, they spit flames on the backfire like mad. :D

Edit

Forgot about this, happened to me yesterday, 3 times after that it went away. It also only seems to happened when the bike is tilted... I think the fuel I had was dodgy, I filled up in a ghetto area. :(
