You definitely need exhaust sealant as the exhaust clamp isn't enough
You still enjoying your Quickshifter? Could have done with one today for the roads i used.

Who had a Gladius on here? I remember someone switched to Renthals shortly after I did? There was someone on here, but I can't remember at the top of my head...![]()
Anyone recommend a strong degreaser for washing bikes? Something that will cut through a few months worth of grease and road crap, and something cheap as I'll use a fair bit of it on the CB400
Don't really want to waste £20 with of sdoc100 on it!!
If I can pick it up locally even better, there must be some pound shop/Halfords brand stuff that does to the job well.
Next to the long weights and tartan paint yeah?Elbow grease : best £1 you can spend on any cleaning product.
Next to the long weights and tartan paint yeah?Just above the spirit level bubbles
I'll get some of that, have heard it's good actually, think my local discount store does it too![]()
Sorry clovis, know what you mean by gasket now. Yeah you don't need that.
I don't know how different the s.c exhaust is to the remus, but I did need sealant. A fella who works on the trains give me the stuff. It smells and stinks when you first put it on and sets, but I have no exhaust leaks. Just with the clamp, It wasn't enough for a 100% seal. That's my experience anyway.
QS is amazing! A little jerky under 4k, but they are ment to be used with wide open throttle. Plus, they are a performance mod, not for convince. Worth the £170, fun, and sound amazing with a loud can.
Would you like to make some profit of your standard handlebars? It'll motivate you to swap your bars in the process.I have a Gladius... I bought the Renthal bar but didn't install it yet.

If you don't mind, I'm only interested in the standard OEM Bars that go on SV's, Bandit's, Hornets etc. They're all the same pretty much.@IC3 there is a breakers up the road from me, I can see how much they would want for some bars if you like? Uncrashed obviously haha

I got a genuine triumph one.. I got mine from a dayatona 675r, it's the same one used on the rx model.
They're all the same, I think even the curvy even had them. So any Naked SV up to whenever they made them. I spoke to Suzuki today, as they have a little warehouse and said all the bars are pretty much the same from bandits, SVs to Hornets etc.He has loads of stuff, do you have a part number or the years of bikes you want to be looked at, or just SV bars? Is yours a K5?
I'll give him a ring tomorrow mate![]()
Just put gentle pressure on the gear lever, shut throttle and the gear will pop in on its own. Its really easy to do clutchless upshifts. Same with Rev Matching on downshifts...Second hand?
I had this one but don't want to pay £300 again.
