I don't know how mechanically adept you are but take photos of everything, lay parts out in an order which makes sense to you and leave bolts in or near the holes they came out of.

Might also be worth seeing if there are torque settings, especially for the headers.

Ask if you need help :)

Got as far as removing the headers and stock exhaust, cba finishing it.

I have also encountered a problem, there is only 1 mounting point on the akro pipes and that's where they bolt onto the header frame, they are then also secured at the exhaust end with a clip that bolts to the footpeg, only problem being, my AR didn't come with a bracket, so the only thing holding the exhaust pipes will be the header bolts  Can't have that so will need to install the new headers with the stock exhaust until i can get a bracket that fits the AR.

Bonus being the stock exhaust in a straight through pipe and it does sound awesome with decat headers fitted.

Finally managed to buy a bike today :D. Flat purchase fell through and we've decided to wait 12 months to go for a house instead, so naturally that meant I had to buy a bike.

Will post pictures in the new bike thread tomorrow, spent all afternoon riding it. 2010 Suzuki bandit 1250s.

Fuelled by a few beers and some wine, we planned the outline of this year's trip to the Alps. Cut it down to 8 days and 7 nights - 3 in hotels and 4 camping. Less than 2 weeks to go :D

Some of you ride offroad, so I thought you mind find this little experiment interesting. It was done by one of the Polish MotoVloggers I follow, dry weight vs wet weight/ready to ride with all the gear e.g. engine plates, radiator covers, handlebars, cooling fan etc.

Quite fancy a 1250S, epic torque monster of a motor in it but I'm really put off by the starter motor lottery, it's an eye watering repair bill to be stuck with if you happen to be one of the unlucky ones

Never again am i spending all day on a concrete floor trying to maneuver my bike around. I need a hydraulic table so i can at least work off the floor.

lol, did you at least finish? :p

Yeah finished it, fitted the akro headers on now with the stock exhaust until the bracket turns up for the Austin Racing exhaust, was a ballache though, no room to work with, cut my hands loads too! :( but it's on and sounds awesome even for a stock end can :D

Just rode it to work, it pops and bangs all the time, one massive bang like a gunshot and then loads of burbles after :D bet that ****** off some people this morning! :p

Have a great ride yesterday, actually probably one of the best i've ever had!
Up through Sheffield, then over the Snake, back through the peak district - some of the hills/views where mad! Then back via Chesterfield. There are so many static cameras down there, never seen so many in such close proximity.
