Followed a very loud V-Twin Tuono home yesterday.

@Clov!s Get a cheap mic of amazon, wrap in microphone foam and either put it in your pocket or put it in your helmet. Cheap and easy way to get rid of the wind noise...

@tom_e What's the name of that garage i can get my bike on the rolling road? sure it was you who recommended me somewhere in the West Midlands. Was it Road and Race performance in Meriden?

Yep that's the one, guy I know took his s1000r down there last week to get it sorted seemed very happy with them.

Just checked the fb post he made the other day he was in there for his suspension setting up, I'll never get the price out of him though as they're a sponsor of the riding group so he probably got it for pennies.

How does everyone find Alpinestars gloves fit wise?

Not too worried about finger length but I have quite wide hands.

Buying these:

I'm normally a large in gloves but a medium Alpinestars fits nicely after breaking in.

I have the SP8 and Celer gloves. The Celers took a while to break in and are still tight when you make a fist (not that you ever need to make a fist when riding, can just be a little annoying/uncomfortable off the bike).

Have a look and try the Rukka Rytmi. They're much nicer than the Celers. The sizing is HUGE though. Think I'm an XS or something according to Rukka lol

If you have an Infinity close by, they stock all the decent Alpinestars and Rukka gloves.

The same tyre but they've split the stock by the age of the tyres. A batch will be put onto the 'super sale' website item if it's getting older.

That's a complete guess by the way.

You're probably right, it makes sense. I usually get the cheaper option. Most of the time I got 2 year old tyres, but I didn't care as I changed tyres every 6 months due to the mileage I was doing in a year. :p
