That's not ND filters, that's polarising filters.

An ND (neutral density) filter just stops some light coming into the camera, so you can use longer shutter speeds or bigger apertures vs without one.

A polarising filter (you want a circular adjustable one) reduces reflections and/or glare. And sometimes blackens out speedos. :D

I'll give it a go, may get lucky and find it works with these too. :p

It used to be 10% but it's now 1% with a max charge of £35.
That's not too bad, I might post my bike up on auction. To fix it, make it roadworthy it'll cost me £150. But, I'll probably have to wait till next spring/summer before I'm able to fix it up...

Nice, are they screw on filters?

Gonna get a frame housing for my xiaomi yi camera as my waterproof one is cracking on the clip, i'll need a filter for the front though to stop bugs from destroying the lens. May aswell get an ND filter for the bright Alpine sun :D

Here's what i had delivered today, quality is really good for £8. It came with a clear protector and a cover to protect it while stored away, also a mic adapter.

Tried the speedo trick with the ND filters but doesn't work, found the polarizing filter but it's £21, bit of a joke price considering what it actually is.

check out polarizing film on ebay :)

I used a phone privacy screen. Stick one piece between the GoPro lens and the case, then rotate the other piece 90 degrees and stick it on your speedo.

You can see it but your camera can't.

Of course this doesn't help if your camera gets confiscated or they see your videos on YouTube as it is trivial to use the lines on the road (or mile markers, or street lamps etc) which have a set distance between them to calculate your speed.

Ended up paying for the filter, I'll get some use out of it.

Had some fun today, good job I didn't record it :p

Having my bike mapped on Thursday, will post the results up.

I'd be very surprised if a decent tuner will just blindly start remapping without an initial dyno run. If nothing else it means they've got nothing to compare the final map to and say look how brilliant I am.

Get a dyno run before and after. Just getting one done after is useless in its own.

I hope they would know to do a before/after dyno run without me saying so :p

I have just inquired about adding an auto blipper for downshifts to my s1000r, ECU flash to enable it plus an extra bit of hardware, £450 which i know seems like a lot but i think it's worth it.

This next owner is in for a whale of a time!! :D:p:o:D

You fiend you! Though, it does make sense. :p

I reckon i'm going to take the bike to work tomorrow for a change.

Makes sense to let someone else take the hit :p

Just had it's initial dyno run, loud in here :D haven't got the figures yet though.

Really nice workshop here though, receptionist is hot too. :p
