Yes. Used to use one when I had a Samsung Galaxy S3 (yep that long ago).

Worked really well, RAM mounted on central yoke mount, wiring loom and connector also bought from Ultimate Addons. Problem is, phone upgrade, case redundant! So not used it since.
 
Great, thank you. Looking at pairing it with either an 8 Plus or as XS Max (they've confirmed a new case is coming for this) so hopefully it'll have some longevity..!

So dialed in and nimble, the bike encourages you to dip it into corners and roll on. Although, considering the long break and only riding a cross bike for 45 mintues few months back prior to this. I took it easy, my first grudge that I noticed instantly, was the bike being pretty gutless at low rpms. But, I can see why so many people buy these over 1000cc, plenty of usable power for A/B roads.

What year is that?

R6's are always so damn beautiful you do have to keep the revs high though if people aren't looking arpund at you when you're doing 30 its raving too low :p
 
@whyscotty how are you finding the stock tires in the cold weather. I've still got loads of tread left on mine but I'm Not sure if it's in my head or they are just awful when cold they havent slipped on me but I feel like I'm riding on egg shells vs when it was hotter and dry and could just throw it about the place

30k is a bit on the high side. Have you ridden an er6 f/n before? If your planning on riding for a while you're likley to get bored with them fairly fast. Recently had one as a courtesy bike and it was nothing like the fun I rember when I first went on one

For 4k you could be getting yourself an older 600 lile a cbr 600 which will keep you entertained a lot longer

Oooof that's an ugly bike :eek:

It's your first bike you're going to drop it, scratch it, get the cheap one. Just check the annoyingly expensive things like fork seals and steering head bearings. Everything else is consumable.

I'm on Road 5's now, swapped out at 2700 miles as like you loads of tread left but no grip.
Noticed that a lot of others have had similar experiences on the owner forums.

I was going to try the Road 5s as my next tyre but I'm unsure now after trying the Power RS that came with my new bike. Good dry grip, but a little squirmy close to the edges, and very poor for cornering in the wet - lots of slip.

Go to local dealers and have a sit on different bikes around your price range. Some may look lovely (to you) but will be uncomfortable depending on your shape/size and their control layout so it's well worth having a physical look at what's about then you can decide more accurately and look online for ones at a price you're happy to spend.

The plate is 17 reg, but I think it might be one of the early 2018 models.

Yeah, how are you finding the road 5s? I'm thinking of putting angel gts on mine next week but hearing good things abour the road 5s.


I ride in all conditions though

I had a rear on for a few k miles, they seemed a tiny bit harder wearing than the Angel GT. And they were awesome in the wet. They're below the M7RR as the 'touring with a hint of sport' option Vs the M7RR which are the 'sport with a hint of touring' :D

Angel GT's are still brilliant though, but I think wet performance the Roadtec 01 was better. Let's face it, winter is coming. I'm glad I'm not out there on a bike this winter!
