Get a good foam attachment for your pressure washer and almost any proper car/bike soap will work.

So after 16 months, for the first time jumped on a road bike. One of my mates that I use to ride with a lot, has let me ride his beauty. :D

So dialed in and nimble, the bike encourages you to dip it into corners and roll on. Although, considering the long break and only riding a cross bike for 45 mintues few months back prior to this. I took it easy, my first grudge that I noticed instantly, was the bike being pretty gutless at low rpms. But, I can see why so many people buy these over 1000cc, plenty of usable power for A/B roads.

Uh oh....

:p

But seriously, good to see that you're back on a bike, must feel strange!
Strangely enough, it didn't... I thought, I was going to stall it but took off fairly smoothly revving slightly more than I should, but didn't stall it! :p

no wheelies this time @IC3
Not on someones bike, no... never crushed doing a wheelie (touch wood), but don't want to test my luck on someones bike.

Someone let IC3 on an R1? Insane.

Glad you enjoyed it - be safe!
There's a big R6 sticker on the fairing. lol :p

Definitely an R6 :p

Put a deposit down on my new winter commuter today... A 4wd, 250bhp Subaru legacy estate with heated seats, cruise control, heated windscreen wipers, automatic box... :(:o:rolleyes::D:p

Yep, I'm now officially a 'fair weather biker'. Where do I hand in my 'year round biker' membership card?

Isn't the tax on them like £500 a year?

At the door, right next to the box where you left your testicles.
:D

Oh, you're being serious. :(

Yep, same as pretty much any other large petrol engine car registered after March 2006. Considering it's a 3 litre flat 6 I'd say it's reasonable :D It's only another £20 a month VED on top of something earlier, so not a huge deal anyway.
