Get your plate from http://www.proplates.co.uk/. Really good quality and come with free stickies to put it on.

There are fewer 'show plate' printers these days, a load went legit recently and don't provide 7x5 and need V5 and include their postcode on the plate etc.

yeah I got mine from ebay and was pleased with it,i cant find the link atm, must be on my other pc

EDIT: did you have a euro flag on yours? that might offset the text

No harm in asking.

Think I'm going to order a spare from proplates for mine, all number plates seem to end up looking a bit battered over time and I don't want to be stuck with a stamped full size if I do ever need/want to replace it. Seems they are clamping down more on 'show plate' printers.

It was warm enough (just) to take out the thermal lining from my leather jacket today :D Riding home last night I was in danger of being a bit too warm with it in, summer is almost here!

I'll put away the clear visor next week too, can nearly do it already but it's getting a little dark at 6pm, next week it'll be nice and light with the clocks going forward.

I've been without my bike for almost 5 days now. Feels like a life time.

Riding down to Cornwall soon though. Any tips for long journeys? if the weather is rubbish I'll drive down but would like to ride, just don't know how it'll feel on my wrists after 3 hours.

If you're using motorways remember to wiggle your toes every now and again to stop them going to sleep as you'll hardly be using the gear shift or rear brake. Apart from that not really it's just another ride regardless of length.

Bristol to Cornwall isn't a long journey!! :p

What bike are you on? There's some cracking roads if you want to take the scenic route, A39 over exmoor to bideford, the the A386 to the A30, then onwards from there.
