Can anyone recommend a good summer glove?

My current ones just seem to turn my hands into lean mean sweating machines

Been using a pair of Alpinestars GP Tech gloves for about 3 years now. Really comfortable, good ventilation with the built in vents and good feel at the controls. Good enough for a load of the MotoGP lads!!.

A bit pricey but worth the investment I reckon. They still look as good as new from when I bought them.

Just looked at the price of those!

For those who have back protectors, where do they sit on your back? I picked up a Forcefield sub 4 last week (bought online as no high street shops had them) and I feel it maybe a little short. I went for the size they recommend for my height and it sits ok when I am standing up but when I bend forward I can't help but feel it rides up and leaves me by tail bone exposed! When I am sat on the bike its about 2 cm off the top off the seat but bearing in mind I am on a cbf125 I am in more of an upright position. The fit is pretty much the same as this chap maybe a fraction longer http://www.webbikeworld.com/r3/back-protector/forcefield-pro-sub-4/

Sorry if I seem pedantic, I thought choosing a lid was hard enough!

If I recall correctly I managed to grab mine in a sale online, can't remember where for £89.99.

Your back protector - Don't be too concerned with it appearing to leave a very small part of your lower spine ( tailbone as you called it ) exposed. Back protectors are designed to protect the upper and middle spine from impact. None really give any protection to the "C-spine" at the very top which is the most important part of your spine.

If you have purchased the recommended size for your height you will be fine. I wouldn't recommend "testing" that theory though. :p :D

Pics from both of ya please
Here's my ZZR1100. Never got round to taking any arty shots of it, and this is the only pic I have of it. Must rectify that at some point!
Coming from upright traillies it was a bit of a shock to the system, and my test rides were all in the pouring rain.
