I will give this question a shot, but of a select one though...

Ha anyone removed (or know how to remove) a Centre Stand from a CBR 600 F around 2005 or similar. I can see a large pin going through the whole set up but it will not budge. I cant see anything clips holding it tight but i cant see much in the small space.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

I helped my brother remove the centre stand from his 2005 CBR 600F last year (the new yoshimura can fitted didn't have the extra bit to stop the stand hitting the chain).

From what I remember it was just the central pin, so if it won't budge try putting WD40/penetrating oil on it

Best of luck

yeh, never heard of em, they dont look badly made for the price, and the baffle is a handy feature.

Yoshimura are always nice on Susukis though, althoough a tad expensive. I have always bought Akrapovic personally, fanatasicly well made, sound nice withoutout being overly loud and always give a notacable bhp boost. comes at a cost though. You could always pick up a second hand one though. I have picked up as good as new full titanium oval Akrapovic can work £360 fo raround £150-£180 before.

You can install a DB killer in most exhausts with abit of modding!

The problem is it will be marked for race only so you will need to grind that off if you want to pass your MOT :p plus if you get pulled over a clued up copper can check everything if he is being picky ;)

So I went ahead and got the Knox Handroids :D

They arrived yesterday. Wore them to work this morning.
Air holes under the fingers allow your hand to breathe nicely.
Nice and flexible, yet still got all the knuckle and palm protection etc :)

This one then:

Looks good but not road legal? Can you install a DB killer in these?
Scuse the n00bness re exhausts :D

For the money mate that is a bit of a bargain. As said removing the not for road use is pretty simple with a bit of polishing. I dont think you will need a DB killer as they are not that loud, I had pretty much the exact same can for my old R1 and it gave it a nice growl but it was not even close to being LOUD. I never got pulled off the police over it anyways.

White and black, as opposed to black and white. Not that there's much difference

Just waiting for my jacket to arrive from the states now and I'm all set for some summer fun! :)

Nice one! yea im not sure which one to get yet, black and white or the white and black :p think ill go down with some leathers and see which looks best :D lol such a tart.

Which Jacket you getting?

I'm trying to find somewhere around London that has these in stock. I'm not sure about sizes, so don't really want to take a punt on the internet. :(

Fudge pants. Someone bought it already. G to the H to the E to the Y!

:( told you it was a bargain!

They do come up from time to time so if you can wait then do so. WIth an Akro you 'shouldnt' need a DB killer. With a Yoshi you will, they scream like a banshee!
