What are you getting rid of then dureth? the kwaka or the ducati? or neither?

Selling the ZXR, Ducati is staying as its a fantastic race bike and great to develop, lots of potential! Hows the healing going, when are you going to be back on the road?

Not to worry Draeger, pics will be coming tomorrow after I ride it home in glorious sunshine!

Already signed up on RSVzone, username is Tranx. I think i've seen you on there, I thought the bike looked familiar!

I'm really enjoying it. I've had to put a set of bar risers on as it was killing my wrists, but it's really comfortable, goes like stink yet still gets 200 miles to a tank. I'm really happy with it.
Not bad for £1800 even taking into account it was a cat C before I got it.

Not posted in here yet but i figured i'd share my bike with you...

On July 8th last year i ran into a little 'trouble'... as a result of this 'trouble' i broke a few things...

After this little mishap I have got the bike back on the road...

Work Done:

New Frame
New Forks
Uprated Rear Shock (GSX-R 750)
Stainless Steel Frame Inserts
Braided Loom
Braided Hoses
Braided Cables
Polished Engine Casings
Twin Dominator Headlight
Jack-Up Dogbones (40mm)
Powder Coated Frame, Swinging Arm & Rear Brake Torque Arm.
Painted Forks, Yokes, Tank & Panels.

Work To Be Done:

Polish Rearsets
Paint Pillion Handles
Paint Rear Joining Fairing (end of tail piece)
Custom Purple Vinyl Graphics

I've done all of the work above myself with the exception of the powder coating (for obvious reasons).

Here's some pics so far:

Apart from fitting a Rene open airbox, having the ohlins forks reworked by K-tech and the ohlins rear shock revalved by Reactive Suspension, followed by fitting a 3 way adjustable Penske shock - the CER needed no work...

Oh aye, then it needed a new set of pipes (Smaltmoto 60mm) and a full repaint and decal set after an embarrassing low side outside a police station :)

I'll fling up some photos later today.

Good job (apart from the limb obviously!)
Bike looks great now.

Thanks

Still some work to do as mentioned above, but should be sorted soon (just waiting on the guy I know that can cut vinyl to get back in the country to sort me out)

Also need a link pipe for it but am unsure what to do with that.. it has a micron exhaust manifold on it and i'm not sure if the output from the collector box is the same diameter and in the same location as on the OEM manifold. I need to compare to someone elses Mk1 600 but all the people i know have either mk1 1200's or mk2 600's, so i'm out of luck on that one!

Awww bye bye purple kwaka! But the Aprillia will be awesome fun :D

Healings going well thanks mate, managed to run for 2 mins on the treadmill last week, paid for it for a few days though :D
But yea its all getting there, arm is getting stronger but still have lots of pain there, I doubt the pull ups at the Gym help lol
More Xrays end of may so I will see how its doing then.

Currently rebuilding the SRAD calipers for the SV, got them apart and cleaning them up so hopefully next weeks I will have that 90% there, then it needs a Vapor dash system then its MOT time!

So how's the CER then?. Picked it up yet?. If you have I am guessing you have a grin on that is almost about to split your face in two. :p

Dropped my RSV in for it's annual torture test, err.......I mean it's MoT this morning and just had my mechanic on the phone saying it whizzed through with flying colours. Advisory on the rear tyre but then I knew it was near the end of it's lifespan so have ordered another 2CT to last me this season. Only did 1400 miles on it last year looking at the old MoT certificate here, just didn't have the time to ride the thing.

Bikes not being picked up until after work today so I'll report back in later :p

Your SV is sounding really nice! Fantastic bikes apart from the front end and you've swapped that so game on.

Wow!

This bike is mental, it makes the ZXR750 feel so slow. The handling and brakes are monumental, everything is perfect!

Well not quite everything, the mirrors give you a nice view of your armpits and elbow just like a Ducati. I guess at least its a vibration free view of my elbow so thats a bit better than the Ducati. :p

Also the suspension has been set rock hard at the rear, it was skittering over the bumps a bit on the back roads so I'll set it all back to manufacturer default and start from there.

Couldn't be happier to be honest, here's some pics:
