Fair enough :p

When I was a kid I dreamed of having a Ninja, but when I was old enough to have one I didnt like the new models :p
Still like the look of the 636 ZX6R and would not say no to an 06 ZX10R.

This is the one i love most

Uhh I have just ..... :D

sat on the new ZX10r just 2 days ago, feels tiny. looks great other then that daft exchaust. Really like kwakas, my first bike was a ZX6R, shame they have a habbit of falling to pieces the 1st sign of rain let alone winter.

You don't like the looks of the RSV-R?? :O

The SP1 is renowned for a very jerky throttle, better on the SP2, guess the hyraulic clutch is a marmite thing, I've got it on the SP and the crosser and love it.....as for the engine being quick or net, against the current crop of litre bikes it wouldn't be as fast. Saying that though I'm no way near it's limits and that's got nothing to do with the engine :( (i.e. I'm an average rider)

Horses for course I guess, this was the RSV R I was looking at,

went down to my local big bike shop and sat on the same model just differnt colour, it just didnt feel right. Certain bikes I just dont feel right when sat on, mainly Susukis, every one I have tried I couldnt get along with. the RSV is the same. Shame as it has great components and a fantastic engine.

On another note, I just order some chinese knock off pazzo shorty levers. Will let you all know if they fit ok and what the quality is like.

I couldnt quite stomach spending £120+ on levers, so £40 is much more agreeable.

Ooh id be very interested in what these are like in real world use - Ive been tempted by the cheaper ones but scrimping on an unseen purchase that can save your life scares me!

@salami - got a link to those budget pazzo type levers?. Been looking at CRG's and Pazzo's online but like others, don't know if I can stomach £120+ for a set of levers especially when the standard OEM ones on my Mille are perfectly fine. :p

Ohh there is some sun out today! May be able to have a nice ride from Dorset to London. Just needs to be slightly warmer, and I'l be happy :D.

May get some new tires this weekend, looking at getting Michelin Pilot Power 2ct's, anyone have any experience with them?

That has a similar looking back end from a Katana with the pop up head light

Such as

Yes, on my old Hornet and my VTR they are awesome all round tyres, good in the wet and dry.

If you're doing dry milage only have a look at metzler racetecs I've not yet used tyres which beat them in terms of dry grip. Don't get these if you do wet weather riding though, they have sod all tread patterns cut in to clear water.
