lol chump, we managed to stop london few years ago with thousands of bikes at least this was raising money for a good cause.

I can't believe they seem to try and show bikers in the same group as Islam4UK... It's shocking. I suppose it's because bikers go there to promote being bikers... and not showing solidarity and support for our forces.

I'm really gutted I couldn't go, because as a biker, and a soldier, it make me feel really proud to see all these guys come out together and show support for what we do.. Just annoys me with these damn Journalists, who seem to have no idea about why we do things like this, and seem to cast us down as rebels who are there to cause an annoyance or something.

I suppose the same could be said for the Wirral Egg Run that'll be taking place in 2 weeks time. I suppose we're just there to be annoying, rather than doing a big charity bike ride, giving eggs and donations to kids who are stuck in hospital for what ever reason.

How inconsiderate us bikers are, eh?
 
Have to say, I've given up on small plates even before I've been caught.. it's just not worth the hassle. Won't be giving up my loud exhaust any time soon though! :D .

I ordered a MPL Clutch Slave Cylinder (in red) today for the RSV.. apparently makes the clutch MASSIVELY easier to use :) . Will be ordering a little jet too that affects selecting neutral (75 jet going down to a 40) as it's a very common problem with these bikes that neutral is a PITA to get (as mine is). Very easy fix and only a £5 part :) .
 
For my group at least, the ride through was a very proud affair, you could tell that the riders were all grateful to be there, and we passed in a very slow and orderly fashion – no racing through, no huge amounts of noise (the crowds were louder mostly!), none of this **** these journalists predicted.

As frustrating as it is to read these mindless tirades, it also quite nice to sit hear knowing that they were totally and utterly wrong – seeing the event first hand and being part of it, just shows how much **** comes from these people’s mouths.

It would be nice to see a retraction of their mindless drivel, but we all know that these negative reviews probably stayed-put to help shift papers :mad:

Was looking at replacement clutch slave cylinders for the 999 as well, well either that or get to the gym more. Its not so bad when your on one, but pottering around town its hard work on the arm.

Cost me £90 but it'll be soooo worth it :) . Like you say, it's fine on the move but as soon as you come down to slower speeds and you're changing gear a lot (where you can't do clutch-less up-shifts) it KILLS. I used to come home with my wrist in agony after a long ride (like an all day ride round twisty roads). MPL themselves say it's up to 30% easier to pull the lever but people on the RSV forums seem to say it feels closer to 50%! :D . Rather spend £90 than get carpal tunnel syndrome :) .

Just worried about the loss of feel though if I get one, seems a few people complaining abou that. mine is bloody hard work but at least it feeds in great. My brothers SP1 is easier on the wrist but is like a on/on switch. hate it. Let me know how you get on, if all goes well ill prob do the same to mine in a month or so.
