Binding of Isaac - Price and date announced!

Damn, where did the last few hours go.

Had a really annoying glitch. Fighting mini-boss Chub and he charged me when I was by the door on a single block wide area. Somehow he pushed me onto the cliff and I skidded away down and out of the map. Had to restart :(
 
Just had a hilariously broken game. Aside from getting tons of damage items I got the nail and the battery very early on. The battery lets you use your space bar items pretty much every room and the nail (amongst other things) gives you two soul hearts per use. I must have had about 50 soul hearts by the end of the game :D

Take those out first and he respawns them periodically not instantly at least.

He'll send some flies and you'll know when he's about to shoot out his stomach, just watch out for the key animation...
 
That was a great round with Judas. Struggled for a little with only 1 heart before getting the Relic. Gives 1 soul heart every 4 rooms cleared and then towards the end I got the Nail with Battery which could give me 2 more hearts every room.

Also discovered an exploit (as if Nail + Battery wasn't an exploit enough already). Nail allows you to break rocks and appears to let you break the door to the Gauntlet so you can recharge with Battery, use Nail, recharge more, break out, return to the room and repeat ad nauseum, allowing for infinite soul hearts. A rather pointless exploit given how broken Nail/Battery is already though...
 
I just managed to beat this game for the first time, unlocked a whole new chapter and apparently the "real" end boss.

I've played for 7.2 hours according to steam, it's an awesome game, I will keep playing
 
Can't you push against the thing until you manage to edge to the top of the block?

The D6 isn't too bad. Though its a little annoying that you can't use it to cycle off the Cube of Meat into another item if you don't want it. Handy for getting rid of certain useless powerups though.
 
Okay, this is easily one of my fave games atm. 11 Hours in and I finally beat Mom xD Haven't got to the 'real' boss yet, guessing its judas or whoever that is from the character screen.
Anyways, this is a perfect pick up and play game, I wish is was coming to the PSP/Vita or something. Would truly be addicted then.
