Just an fyi this is what they require for migrating a code from a retail copy of the game.

We understand that you would like to migrate your retail copy of BioShock to Steam. In order to be able to be able to assist you, we would need to receive a picture that is showing all of the following :

The Game CD case(s)
The Game CD (If there are multiple, please include each one)
A piece of paper with your steam email address and your ticket number (#) clearly written on it
We will review your request and establish eligibility based on your submission. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

If ever there is anything else related to our 2K titles, please do not hesitate to contact us again!

Best regards,

Aww, take it out! :)

Mine came out of the box and has been on a shelf since I got the game, love it. Think that's the only collecters edition I've ever purchased with something really decent that I liked a lot.

Sold my 360 big daddy for a fortune to someone in the states, was having a clear out but ended up making 350% profit on it

I'm looking forward to this. I completed Bioshock on the xbox, but that was a long time ago and never got into number 2, as well as infinite which I also own. This will give me the impetus to have another go!

Just replayed Infinite but I will play one and two again for sure. Own all three on PC and the first one is one of my all time fav games. The Minerva den DLC for two was brilliant as well

Well that was refreshingly easy! Contacted 2k support and sent a photo of my dvd case, disc and steam user email yesterday. Got a steam code for bioshock today!

So, I presume I now add bioshock to steam, but then what? How do I get the remastered version? Will I have to download 'normal' bioshock and then download the remastered version as a separate entity?

Yeah, I have Bioshock 1, too chicken **** to play it for long.

What I did play, I enjoyed but found it VERY atmospheric, in a good way.

An amazing soundtrack/audio score.

The Bioshock games always rubbed me up the wrong way with taking control away, or being clumsy with forcing you along story paths. First few minutes of Bioshock - "Ooh, a discarded syringe, I'll just shove that into my arm, no worries!"

First few minutes of Infinite "ooh, a sharp implement, I'll just shove it into this guy's neck and twist!" I actually stopped playing Infinite at that point, it was so jarring. Oh yeah, you're a murderous psycho, sorry, forget to mention :D
