Black Desert Online

Going to order the conquerers pack this weekend.

This is my final time with an MMO, if this doesn't suck me in then im done with them. Everything i've seen i've liked the look of so far. Even the grind doesn't bother me and it has the large scale PvP that i enjoy the most.

Anybody in the beta on the 18th and anyone playing this on release? I want to try and find a decent guild.

Also still not sure what class to play, i always play warrior type classes but fancy a change for this, disappointd only 3 male classes though.

I may go Wizard but don't really want an old guy, so thought about Valkyrie or Warrior. Will try them all in beta.

I have the conquereres pack too so will be playing in CBT2 and the early access, i'm already in a guild called Avalon but they have closed recruiting until the game launches.

I'm not sure about classes either, i've played a Wizard in CBT1 and i really injoyed it, but i've always played those type of characters in previous MMO's so i'm trying a Valk in CBT2 to see if i enjoy that class.

I Played a Ninja in the RU release of the game, i really enjoyed this class but its not in the EU/NA release of the game :(
 
Played this last year and really enjoyed Warrior and wanted to try Blader but its not in release.

Probably roll Wizard or Giant.

Looking forward to CBT and Headstart as the grind in BnS got to me at 42 when i ran out of gold.

I'm all over this game Dave, its the one mmo in the last 5 years that I've really really enjoyed. Ppl told me Blade and Soul was going to be amazing, I played it for a weekend and was bored stiff of it. Cant wait for this game, Ive put in over 300 hours into the Beta, it's a fantastic game.

Exact same feeling with BnS.

I liked the combat but everything else i found was pretty bland.

I'm just downloading the RU version now so can have a play later. I'm genuinely looking forward too it.

What class are you going for on release?
 
I'm pinning my hopes into this now. Played blade and soul but the lack of any kind of support for EU players was disgraceful, server outages in prime time (am for America), the server lag which I've never ever experienced in any other game in over 13 years of online gaming, and the cash grab shop were just too much to bare. Seriously though I tried the Asia versions of B&S before EU release and I got a better ping from them than the EU servers!
 
Been keeping a eye on this game for ages, will be in next beta, but like others have said, played so many mmo now only to be mostly disappointed, so it a wait and see, the visuals are brilliant.

BnS not for me a very boring game IMO.
 
Just done my character creation ready for CBT2 and launch.

Decided play a Wizard due to always being warrior/tank roles in MMO and well there is explosions and shiny effects to look at.

Every review or feedback i read says melee are worthless at endgame pvp,
Its go ranged or don't bother.
Will be giving this a miss if true hate ranged classes.
 
Not seen that myself and can't see it.

Valkyrie and Warrior are solid PvP I'd imagine. Especially 1v1. Witch/Wizard are good for group and siege but not 1v1.
Ranger and probably Sorc will likely do best and one of then is mainly melee.

End of the day it's all down to the player and how good they are.
 
Just preordered the Explorer's Package and downloading the character creator now. If other games char creators are anything to go by I'll spend 30 mins creating a character I'm not happy with then spam random for a few mins tilting get one I can live with.

Hope the game is as good as it looks.
