I was under the impression the launcher just updated. I went to my account on the Black Desert website clicked the download link and installed it to the same location as my previous install and it did a small update and now i have the current version.

That'll have been the last patch for CBT1, for some reason you've got to uninstall that version and redownload the whole thing again for CBT2.
can you confirm then what version does it state on your launcher?

So far so good and it does seem a somewhat more complex game than the standard MMO. It was a bit confusing when speaking to the first quest giver where I was, Wale, when he was voiced completely different words compared to what was on the screen.
Apart from trying to kill 5 mobs for the past 20mins and not even having gotten one because there are so many other people trying to do the same thing i'm liking what i'm seeing so far. Might go for the conqueror package just to avoid that lol.
I can imagine the same happening during the headstart, i read somewhere that they had sold over 200k in pre-orders. I'm starting to think that it would be quieter as the game launches for real!
Regarding CBT2 i'm guttted to be stuck at work while my guild are already levelling quickly!!

Remember guys after about level 15 or something. Quests give little to no xp. It's all about the mobs.
Also I recommend reading up on the game as it's very complex. Things like understanding knowledge of mobs. Sending workers out, housing, nodes and just about everything else this game offers.
Also make sure you run and sprint a lot as it builds up your stamina etc...

Over 300k sold so far and I'm sure that will rise this weekend.
Its doing well, its clear there is a need for more complex MMO's out there! Although the lack of dungeons is a litte bit of a put off for me! Lets hope the guild vs guild battles live up to the hype!
