Damn, this is going to be awesome. I still remember playing Half Life 1 on my PC back in the day, it was the first real epic PC game I played, the only other that rivalled it was Star Trek Elite Force :)

HL1 was released in 1998, HL2 was released in 2004. So therefor BLS is older then HL1 was when BLS began development. I'm not saying that it isn't going to be awesome to us hard core Half-Life junkies, but other then that a lot of people are not going to take much notice due to the extreme delays.
 
With this team's track record with release dates, I wouldn't be surprised if this release was a delayed april's fool.

If not though, I'll be downloading it eagerly!

The people that have remained interested until now are probably the people that have always been interested, the massive Half-Life fans.

They've not been vocal for years, but the stories all over now, heck it was on BBC news. I had some near 50 year old bloke at work that never plays games talking to me about it yesterday.
 
I've just been a silent observer regarding this project by the BMS team due to their constant delays, i'll believe it when i can click the button that let's me download it.

Star Trek: Elite Force didn't come close to Half-Life in my opinion.
 
I am so excited now!!! and i dont get excited easily... ive been checking the site every month or so for years!!!

Made my day, month and year.... enough said.
