Finding an OcUK mug would have been beyond epic. You could have changed the lettering slightly, like with the snacks.

Great job, have really enjoyed it so far. I've stopped for now as I don't want to complete it too quickly.
 
Can't complete the game now cause of a bug when you turn on the massive fan that pushes you up, I always CTD when going back up the second ladder :D

I also had this problem, you need to make sure there are no boxes or wood stuck in the fan (you may have smashed one at the top of the area and it fell onto fan).

In the original, I was stuck on Blast Pit for a LONG time.

Oh, the days of not having illuminated buttons and arrows onscreen :)
 
HL was the first PC game I ever fell in love with , I must have completed the original 10 times over the years.

Why didnt Valve pay these guys and charge for this mod?
I would have paid full price without hesitating!

I found with the original HL that I could sit halfway down each ladder and it wouldn't be able to get at me.

No such luck with BMS - this time I did it in the end by just lobbing grenades towards the other side of the room and moving quickly past it, but not so quick that I take aggro, if you get what I mean.

There's certainly some trial and error in there. A couple of times I got nobbled because I got stuck on a ladder and couldn't get off when I needed to, hence my comments above about the ladder mechanics being utterly ****.

Just checked over it and there is nothing on there, also only happens when its on full power, weird thing is, is that it worked the first time and I died going through the vent and now it doesn't work... should have saved but then again the game should work.
 
Just up to office complex and all I can say is this mod is brilliant. Love the extra little things they added such as dialog and the achievements. If you weren't told you would think Valve themselves made this re-make of HL1.
 
My only issue with the game are ladders. They don't 'feel' like Half Life ladders, pressing jump doesn't launch you from them properly.

Anyone else feel this?

Although I agree with previous comments about the ladders (and jumping), I do find that this brings back fond memories, so I don't mind this quite so much as I would if it was a different game, which I would be more likely to be less forgiving about.
