lol i just bunny hopped through all the vats.
Am I overthinking this? I'm at the hydro electric dam. I'm at the bit where the helicopter appears and attacks you. I can take it down with a couple of overcharged shots from the Tau Cannon, but I take a load of damage in the process.
Is there any way to avoid the combat or do it without taking a hit?

I COULD do that, but I prefer to take down the choppers if I can. I ended up edging forward to make it spawn, then ran back to the building with the big pipes to use as cover. Managed to force the helicopter to flee and only lost about half my suit energy.

I've managed without so far, just need to get past the firey bullet proof dude now without dieing.

I thought that until I got to the VTOL and respawning troops, just couldn't win against the wallhacking ai and had to enable god mode (couldn't even do the damn thing on easy despite playing the rest of the game on normal).

Pffft you have to go aggressive and shoot it with the rocket launcher!

)If your talking about the bit I think you are, that VTOL can be destroyed with 3 rocket strikes.
Wasn't that the same in the normal game? It would circle around and respawn troops until you blew it up?
Just moved on after launching the rocket, crashed my superspeed tram and killed a silly overgrown fish. Not sure when I'll get further as Borderlands 2 will take up my time tomorrow. I could've sworn I was supposed to have been 'reset' sooner than this but could just be I keep forgetting what order it goes in.

I seem to be stuck. I'm at the secound encounter with the giant flame shooting bullet proof alien. I've gotten to the tower with the targeting computer. I can see how to "paint a target" on the map, but when I do nothing happens. Where the heck is the button to make them fire?
