Don't think so, not until steam officially releases it. Steam just adds it as a shortcut.
No, this does not normally happen. Just hope these guys get some recognition from Steam/Valve....and job offers !

was up till 1.30 last night trying to get this completed, literally had that 'oh just 5 more minutes' moment at like 12.00 lol. Still didnt get it finished though!
Literally on the last chapter now with the pumps and stuff, was trying to figure out how to active the 1st group and got stuck so gave up, managed to do the 2nd pumps just fine but seem to be missing a button somewhere.
anyway should get it finished tonight - its sooooooo good.
Funny to see that the pizza mystery has still not been solved!
and On a Rail level was interesting, I remember loving it in the original - funny to see how much its changed/less complicated now.

On a rail was definitely much shorter! I think I got through it like 10 minutes or less and I remember it taking a long time before.
Anyway the mod inspired me to replay the whole series again, using Cinematic Mod 11 for HL2. Loved it as I havent played them in years.

Been waiting this for years and now its hit I can't play it.
Is there a way to change the FOV? Please please please say there is.

why? just download it and play...whats the problem? No need to rely on steam for everything in pc gaming as your be waiting ages as I presume they want to finish Xen before releasing it on steam.

Yes, I have and didn't see any FOV option.
I'm in no particular hurry to play, the mod was in development for almost forever (tm) so I can wait longer. And yes, if it takes them finishing Xen to release on Steam, then I'm happy with that. I'm probably in the minority that didn't hate Xen and the Nihilanth encounter too !
Just call it personal preference, I want to play with achievements, any presumable kinks having been ironed out and if the story is complete then all the better.
To the Lambda Core I think. Such a good mod, really good attention to detail and remastered everything so well. The improvements they've made using the source engine's physics is really nicely done too. I feel like I should have paid some money to someone to enjoy this..
