Blackberry 9900/9930

If anyone wants to know anything I am all ears. Lovely lovely phone and finally got Suresignal working with my wretched homehub so I actually have signal :p

Take some pictures, these threads need pictures!

How nice is browsing OCUK on it (that's very, very important :p)?

Oh cool its up...i was on there about 30mins ago and didnt see it

I'll have to give that a read later as well.

I thought Spawn would have one already! I'm shocked :p

LOL ive had mine on pre-order since end of last mth so im waiting for them to be released:p...now there are delays in the sim free versions...19th of aug seems to be more of a date now.

Trust me im waiting and not enjoying it one single bit.

Where did you pre order from ?

mobilephonesdirect are going to have the sim free in stock tomorrow.

It's a small box you attach to your phone line/router and it gives you a solid 3G signal around your house, etc.

Definitely worth it for £20 (you'll get it for £20 if you call them up or go into a store).

you get 3G Phone signal ? Its £50 on the net ? What you say to the sales guy to get it at £20 ?

Will dig out my broken lense DLSR and take some pics in a few mins... but browsing OcUK is pain free and much smoother than my old Moto Milestone. The smaller screen is an issue obviously but it is high res so still perfectly usable.

I paid £20 for my sure signal too as my contract was a high enough level. £46/month for 12 months.

Handtec...i spoke to them this morning but have heard its been delayed till the 19th or something...dunno ill call them tomo and see if they have any for sale...if so then ill cancel my pre-order with handtec.

So is the cheapest pay monthly option to get the phone for free £31 from CarphoneWarehouse? It says there is a back-order when I go to order online, anyone know when they're getting stock? Might go in store tomorrow to see if they have any

CPW told me the 18th last time I spoke to them. Looks like Voda direct won out all round eh.

Yep Voda have a 7 day exclusivity at the moment...ends on fri if im not mistaken then other networks and i think the sim free versions will start shipping...fingers crossed.

Looks awesome!

My sister needs to replace her ageing 9700 with a new BB soon, seems like every time I go round a battery pull is needed to get the trackpad working again! :D

Are there any of the other bold type designs (that great keyboard and touchscreen) coming out in the next few months with a bigger battery?

is this suresignal worth it if you are at home and it is connected to your home network anyway?

Well considering that doesn't help you get mobile signal at all, it's completely irrelevant, unless you are on orange using UMA.

I am with Orange.

Well in which case it is completely irrelevant as Suresignal is a vodafone thing. Orange's implementation of UMA is miles better; but phones have to support it. The 9900 currently does *not* unlike the older blackberries.

Does three have something similar??
