Blackberry 9900/9930

Aweeesome, First order nobody could find it, second order declined credit check, and now i have to wait 90 days to re order what a load of CRAP.

Really, why is BlackBerry email so much better? I'm not seeing it.

One thing which annoyed me on the iPhone was that when I deleted any mail of the phone it never got deleted on the server, so when it synced again the deleted email would come back again !

Email were never instant.

My website email on the iPhone would never sync when I was on wifi, it would only sync when I was connected to 3G.

That depends entirely on your email account though. For example, I can get my Gmail working exactly like that on the iPhone. :)

It's annoying otherwise though, I agree.

To be declined a credit check on a mobile is pretty rare - you got some mega black mark or something?

These are user or admin problems and nothing to do with the phone. BES is honestly just a plugin to <mail server here> that fires the message over the BB encrypted network, it's not rocket science.

I'm not so sure it's that rare is it? I had a problem once, because some third party sites don't ask if you have an existing contract/number with a certain network, so they get declined automatically. Very stupid but it was resolved immediately when I phoned up.

Never bought anything on a contract, as im a student, Vodafone couldnt tell me nout. Guess il have to get one off bay and try Three UK out.

I'm a student too and got approved for a £45 a month contract on a BB. People very rarely get declined!

Less than 2% IIRC. Failure is usually because the system can't find you (not registered to vote, not registered at home, no SS etc...).

IN OTHER NEWS - Date for the Orange launch of the 9900 and 9860. Its the 25th for both. I don't even know if conor (How is it not 2 n's) has told everyone because we block twitter here and i'm too lazy to check on my phone so in case he hasn't - ignore the second one :)

I bought the official Blackberry soft case and it is really good.
The case does not add too much bulk and you have access to all the buttons / connection.

The back of the case has matt effect and you get better grip of the phone and the best thing about this case is that you get the blackberry logo at the back.

The only downside (probably with all cases) is that you can't charge the phone using the official dock with the case on.

Here is the case and official charging dock.

Apologies if it's already been covered, but has anyone found any information regarding the Blackberry Curve 9360? Just noticed it as "Coming Soon" on the Orange website.

Got my obligatory charging dock last week myself, always get one when i get a new BB. Although i find its not too secure compared to the older charging docks...sometimes i find the phone falls over as its not held too securely but regardless i love the new look of the charging dock.

At the moment im still using the pouch that came with the phone, i prefer it as it puts the phone to sleep once its inserted, was contemplating on getting the soft case myself but decided in the end not to.
