Can see Blackwell being more of a Turing with large dies and a mediocre performance uplift.

Can see them dropping the 5080 as almost a 4090 'replacement' and pushing the price slightly at $1300ish (still 16GB though). Gonna have roughly 12000 cuda cores if leaks of 96 SM units are correct.

Am really not sure if they will price the 5080 so high

It looks like the sales of the 4080 were really bad when it was priced at $1199 and nvidia had to drop the 4080 super price to $999

MLID saying the 5080 will be $1200-1400 with performance around a 4090, if this turns out correct then Blackwell will be a massive failure.

But that lad talks a load of tripe most of the time don't he? He says loads of different things. Then one is right or almost right he points to it says he was right

I don't see the 5800 being under 1200. I've seen enough nvidia keynotes and launch events now that I can already hear Jensen going full salesman on stage trying to convince the audience that it's worth the sticker price because it's as fast as the unrivalled 4090. I haven't forgotten though that it used to be the new x70 card that would rival last gens TI class card. I've fairly sure that both camps offerings will be very easily skipped. One is going to be priced out of this world and the other most likely wont offer anything interesting from a pure performance point of view. Guess we can finally say it's "cheap" to be a game cause we'll just skip 'em :D

I want to see Jensen do a Ampere friends it is now safe to upgrade routine and announce their 5080 "flagship" card at $999 with 4090 performance :D

Imagine how beautiful that would be?

Jensen would reduce mrk's epeen to being this big:

The 5080 going to have more performance then a 4090 and cost $999 ;)

I be surprised if it doesn’t have better performance then a 4090 with the higher memory bandwidth helping the performance of it other increased specs & clocks

If that happens I will need to edit that picture and reduce the gap between Jensen's index finger and thumb
