Under 1% of steam gamers have a 4090.
If they release a £3000 card it will be more like 0.1% of gamers.
It wouldn't be the first time

Titan is back
This looks around what I’d be expecting especially if a titan is on the full die.Fact or out of someone's backside?
but its not going to sell.. lets say you are working on a homebrew ai projectThis looks around what I’d be expecting especially if a titan is on the full die.
THAT'S RIGHT BABY, TITANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only 'cause it has AI in the title y0 ;pi know what i am going to buy
but its not going to sell.. lets say you are working on a homebrew ai project
rtx 5090 $1600
titan ai (+14% VRAM, +7% compute) $2999
i know what i am going to buy
The titan could just be the distraction and used to hide a large price increase on the 5090, what if the 5090 is hiked to $2000 and the titan is $3000, people would think the 5090 looks like great value compared to a 3k titan which isn’t much faster while those with unlimited budgets would just get the titan anyway.but its not going to sell.. lets say you are working on a homebrew ai project

Yeah buts that’s my point, Nvidia using to titan to make a 5090 appear good value even if its not.that still skews things in favor of 5090, ai enthusiasts will strongly prefer a 2x 5090 configuration
a titan only makes sense if it theres a big difference in VRAM capacity, if they can pack in 56 or 64 GB into that thing then they can surely price it in that range
