^ Blade & Soul ^ F2P MMo

Just installed this after downloading it overnight :)

Had some initial problems with errors but turned out it was the anticheat trying to connect without any firewall rules :(
Had to add GameGuard.des (which is really an exe) to my firewall rules

Also the launcher installer gave no option to install anywhere other than "C:\Program Files" :(

Wasn't sure on what server to select, seems like 3 in the EU are already closed for new character creation

Not been able to play over the last couple of days and getting the itch, hopefully the rest of this week will give me some time! What level are you Starfall lot up to now?

I've updated the first post with players names and server details, If I've left anyone out just re-post your info and I'll keep it updated.

We could also start a Guild ingame for members as an easier way to keep upto date and arrange dungeon runs PvP or whatever, just need a decent name so all ideas welcome!

It wasn't a popular server in early access but with the game launched it does have queues, as for how bad I don't know.

Once the initial hype and rush has gone like with all MMo release's it will no doubt get easier to login without premium.

I'm up to around 16, not played for 2 days now though, been looking after mum in hospital. I should be on tomorrow from midday though, I wanna do some dungeons me thinks.

Tried, but uninstalled. Just cannot get into this at all. I gave it a few hours not 10 mins before I'm jumped on.

Looks nice and all, but it's a bit cluttered.

I'm enjoying it and the graphics are beautiful maxed out but i have to agree the UI is a cluttered mess, i just came off playing Scarlet Blade for a few days, but despite the panning it got for it's boobies, the UI is clean and easy to use, it's easier to get into and the content is more interesting so far, and who doesn't like boobies?

The game is nearly 5years old, it certainly won't win over the dedicated WoW/SWG (type) player base. It's aimed at MMo'rs who want a competitive skill based PvP game with dungeon grinding and those(?) who enjoyed Lineage I & II or Aion type gameplay for example.

What I will say is you have to get to level 30+ to actually get into the meat of the game, that's roughly when things start to click.

I have made a character on Starfall (Evangalista) seems this is where most people are. I did make one on another server but will start again as I did not get too high, level 8.
I have zero interest in pvp but will try the pve stuff to see if it is enjoyable.

The UI is clunky and obtrusive so I will need to have a play and see if I can move stuff around.

Was fun for the hour or so I played last night. Not sure if I am in for the long haul mind.

Like I said previously, the game is good at the moment but the world doesn't have enough in it and I can see I'll be bored in a month or two. I still think Black Desert is going to be the one with longevity. I played the hell out of it, and only stopped playing the Russian version at Christmas. There's just so much to do in that world, BnS just feels empty in comparison. I love the combat, but I'm not really much of a pvp person in mmo's.
