So spoke to insurers, they spoke to recovery place and the recovery spot reckon it will be total loss. They said the car was picked up mid way through being stripped!!!
All hearsay but sounds like the guys may have been caught which is at least one saving grace. Still waiting for Cambridgeshire police to call to confirm what the hell happened. The car is on police hold at the pound, presumably for investigation purposes.

But San Marino Blue is a properly gorgeous colour.
The plastic part is the standard M-Sport upper section of the rear bumper, the rest of it is carbon.Lots of it looks like black plastic.
Like the colour and styling, just not the cheap looks.
