Absolutely. It's super useful.

Yes, 435GC is a great choice. If you must have a two door, I found the C207 E Class coupe is one of the biggest for rear space. The rear windows drop which makes strapping kids in a doddle, but at 7 they are capable of climbing in and doing their own seat belt up.

Obviously a C216 (CL) has even more space and rear windows that drop fully, reasonably economical in 4.7turbo guise too (just under 30MPG long term, unless you do tons of town driving).

Oh, this is the BMW thread :D

Needs comfort seats, bigger wheels and not being grey.
Since when do people spec cars properly in the UK?

Massive wheels is a very UK thing, that car is very nicely specified and it's good to see things like a HUD and a heated wheel over 20 inch rims.

As for the colour have you seen the G30 pallette? That's about the best colour available with the best interior combo.

BMW colours: grey, grey, grey, grey, grey, blue, blue-grey, grey-blue, black, white, grey.
Even Individual is pathetic compared to the 1990s and early 00s.
That spec is impressive, especially for a 520d!

Any suggestions for cheepish second hand wheels that won't look terrible for my M140? I want a second set to run winters on over the next few months.

Wondered what views were on the value of the pre-reg M4 comp packs that come and go on the official approved used site?

Generally one or two 69 plates at any given point going for 43k or so with a couple of hundred on the clock. I think they're about 55k list.

PCP on most is a horrendous 12% but I saw one at 6% the other day. Still a poor rate but 3k down and 550pcm for 36 months in a new m4 that's under warranty is feeling a bit tempting.

I've found a set, they are on 225/40 R18 tyres so square, I presume no issue running those on my car for a few months? They are BMW 338 wheels, not my favorite but I'm not too bothered.

Yeah that's the main downer. whatever they offer is gonna be out of my price range though.

Funny some of those cars are ultimate pack (includes the custom paint option) and black saph. Wasted opportunity :D San Marino blue is gorgeous though

Are you sure they'll fit on a 1er? The E90 might have a different offset.
Check if they fit here: https://www.willtheyfit.com/
It's these:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-BMW-1-2-series-18-WINTER-Alloy-Wheels-Tyres-F20-F21-m135-m235-m140-m240/274092153305?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m2763.l2649

I presume that they'll fit as from what I can tell they are F20 OE wheels at some point.

It's this wheel:

https://shop.bmw.co.uk/bmw-uk-respo...dial-spoke-388-winter-complete-wheel/2448001/

7.5J ET 45 120 PCD 18".

Unless someone can correct me? As I said, really not my style of wheel but they appear a bargain compared to new OE wheels and new tyres as an example.

I'll have to move some stuff about in the garage but I can store a second set easily enough.

Ah, you said Style 338 in your other post, not 388 ;)
