To be clear I have no idea what the ride is meant to feel like. Its way better than my civic 06 that I drove previously.
Feel like it tramlines a little.
Stiff sidewalls of runflats will do that.

How bad value are service plans now? Just asked about one for my 18-plate 4 series. They want £1175 for coverage to Nov 2023. Take into account that I do 7-8k miles/yr. It doesn't look like I'll get value from that when bmw indi specialist seems 30% less - e.g. oil service £165 vs £234 (BMW Cooper main dealer).
Also, 3/4 series seems 'screwed' savings-wise compared to 1/2 and 5 series according to link!
For reference my local would be grosvenor bmw Reading - seem to have decent rep.
trim-wise, from cheapest to most expensive:
se -> sport -> msport
and presumably...
pro = professional media package
plus = msport plus package
tech = tech package
My issues with this is that the m sport packages get you some nice kit, but also get m badges plastered all over it. I get ribbed for having m badges all over my 2 litre diesel but the m sport X package had all the goodies I wanted at a decent price.
can get the trim de-badge as a no cost optionMy issues with this is that the m sport packages get you some nice kit, but also get m badges plastered all over it. I get ribbed for having m badges all over my 2 litre diesel but the m sport X package had all the goodies I wanted at a decent price.
What's the deal.. Can you now go to other garages and keep your warranty?
Answered my own question for Auc.
https://www.bmw.co.uk/en/topics/owners/service-workshop/warranties/bmw-auc-warranty-guidelines.html
.
An Authorised BMW Centre or BMW Service Authorised Workshop using only genuine BMW Parts must carry out all service and warranty work
Strange that a AUC warranty would/could be more restricted than retailer warranty!?...you Retailer Warranty will not be affected should you decide to have servicing or repairs not covered by the warranty carried out by a Non-BMW Authorised Workshop.
That's in direct contradiction to my warranty/service book.

alternatively, diy debadge - it's no more than double-sided tape holding the m badges in place lol
Yeah. Still it's only 12 months warranty and won't need a service until the end of that time.after market warranties have different terms.
Just fitted my dashcam in.
Lol.That's a shame
Lol.
Saves me £45 on my car insurance.
You dislike dashcams... Or dashcam owners
I think Fox dislikes both but I’ve decided to get one and will be fitting it tomorrow. Never been a fan but last week on the M1 got caught up in a high speed scrap between a van and somebody in a tiny red car. Van drove on the hard shoulder and then from there swung across the front of me in the middle lane nearly taking me out. Didn’t even know what was going on, so van now in front and little red car next me going at each other.
Why does that mean you needed some sort of video surveillance system in your car?
Do you know when I explain how SUV's are utterly retarded for the vast majority of people? That's exactly what you're doing now.
Don't think i can fit the rear nextbase 512 addon
You know I don't think in 2 years I've ever really played back footage other than when I drove my old civic into a lake.Oh no, that must be awful. However will you cope without gathering 4k footage of total strangers going about their daily business.
