I did a google and could only find used but found new ones via ebay directly from 450 to 675.
It is not irrelevant, if a garage wanted to replace an alloy with a genuine one but slightly cheaper then they can. If I know the original price then I can judge what to advertise it at.

Its a wheel for an old car, you need to have it compete on eBay with used ones targeting people who have broken a wheel, etc. It'll need to be very reasonably priced. You'll achieve a markup over a used one, sure, but not much given the car that it fits?

This is like me trying to sell a 5 year old proliant server for anything like its 5 figure original price tag :p Good machine sure, but who wants it!

You can buy a whole freshly refurbished set for that, I think you'll do well to get that sort of price for one, even if it is new.

Yeh it's no biggy as I'm just leaving it up on gumtree and not bothering with ebay, people can then shoot whatever figure they want at me if they're after a brand new one. If a random mechanic wants it for a repair or whatever then it's there - I've already had text messages about it with offers so let's just wait and see :)

Surely you want/need somet with a proper diff for a start?

The earlier models have the differential that allows you to bolt an aftermarket item into the orignal casing, the later ones BMW welded the inside up which prevents you from doing this. Or you can just weld the diff up.

A shame to trash a nice car drifting.

I think a 13/14 year old 3 series of under £4k is nice enough that I dont feel stupid daily driving it but equally if I end up knocking the bumper etc it wont be horrendus either. To be more specific I won't be tracking it more regularly than maybe a handful of times a year, the nearest track to me is Santa Pod afaik which makes it a long and expensive day out. I used to have S14's and miss the RWD but reasonably low budget setup. S14's cannot be had in decent nick for sub 8-10k now they have gone a little silly.

There is very little in the way out there of cars that are both manual, have a reasonable amount of power, 4 seats and are rwd for sub 4k. Its really limited to the odd mercedes and jag S types. and earlier model BMW's even E46's are not generally significantly cheaper than E90's any more.

BMW monthly warranty question - can you purchase it if the car is a CAT N and no main dealer service history?

Car in question is a 430d, cat N, 2015, 50k.

When my M4 was a bit broken (KW HAS fitting was a nightmare experience at a local 'suspension specialist') it wasn't ready for booked track day. So took the totally inappropriate daily driver on instead.
Finally got round to actually editing some videos taken last year......

Tupac's 750Li:

That was actually leased by death row. Tupac didn’t own it I think.

Think Tupac at around the time of his death had a sl500/e500/rolls Royce drophead, an suv of some sort possibly an Escalade and a Jag convertible.
