Indeed. But the M340i can be specified with a tow hook, so no worries in this case.It depends if it has type approval for towing, which a lot of the performance variants do not.
Unless for some reason it’s not available in RHD??

Same. Was a great car and one I could have kept for another 3 years (life pre-children).I REALLY regret selling my E89 Z4 35i. Loved that car.
Price to change! Doesn't matter if they give you £2k off if they low ball you by £2k on your part ex does it?I've moved away from the M235i and have now settled on an M340i. Dont do black/white/grey or blue so Sunset Orange it'll have to be!! My local dealer is coming back on carwow as 10% off the OTRP for the spec I want to order. Initially I was happy with 10%, but unsure if it is realistic to expect further discounts. So dont know whether to go in and push for more or just go ahead and buy with this price? It wiil be next week that I visit the dealer, so time to think. As I have a car to part ex, I take it that if they give me a great deal off the OTRP they will try to not give me such a good deal on my part ex price?

15-20% off is what you should get off in a normal market.

Looks like mostly 14% off for stock deals. Not surprising given demand.
I got the same discount as a stock car has as with a factory order. I must be a tougher negotiator...

An M340i touring has just arrived at my local BMW, awaiting pictures and a video to be sent but I might go take a look. The M140i is getting a little on the small side now with the addition of a dog and family planning next year.
Not sure whether to wait before all the madness has stopped or just make a move now. Unfortunately I don't think I'll have enough money for it even with a bank loan so part of it would have to be PCP and they don't appear to want to budge on the 7.9% used APR.
Not sure how to play this if I did do it, get a bank loan to top up my savings to reach the max PCP deposit thus lowering the interest paid on the PCP? Or borrow more and overpay the PCP? I could see me keeping the car 5 years or so as it'll more than suit all of our needs.
I doubt it would be an issue as long as affordability checks are passed.though not sure how good it would look on credit record to get a bank loan and then pcp immediately thereafter...
but then the actual BMW site says the i8 battery warranty is 8 years/100k. Presumably this is therefore impossible to extend, making 2014/5 cars basically unpurchaseable? I can't seem to find wording for the AUC warranties that specifically addresses this, but I might be being blind.with the exception of the following. Battery, BMW i3 and BMW i8 high voltage and auxiliary batteries,
Out of curiosity, what's the scoop with maintaining the battery warranty on an i8 these days? The insured warranty documentation I found says but then the actual BMW site says the i8 battery warranty is 8 years/100k.
