BMW and M Power Owners

Our mutual friend's 540i touring was only a few grand more and has all of the bits I mentioned are missing and then some, so it's not impossible. Comfort seats are the main things that it needs though.
Sorry for a dumb question but what defines a “Comfort seat”?

Reading about HK audio design aspirations for bmw/i5 .. - their customers apparently want an enveloping artificially created surround sound , so not what you'd want in your living room or listening to via headphones, or the original music producer generated.

Splendid design for premium driving
In the BMW 5 Series, the Harman Kardon surround sound system ensures that all drivers enjoy excellent sound in their vehicle, complemented by handsome design that includes elegant speaker grilles in steel, a unique hexagonal hole pattern, and an illuminated Harman Kardon logo.

“The optional Harman Kardon surround sound system provides the new BMW 5 Series with rich, enveloping sound that offers drivers and passengers listening experiences so enjoyable that every journey becomes exceptional,” said Greg Sikora, Senior Director, Global Acoustic Systems Engineering at HARMAN.

...
While the Countryman Electric carries over the sound system architecture known from its combustion engine powered brother, the MINI Cooper Electric comes with a new sound system setup including 10 high quality speakers and a total output of 600 watts. With a full 2-way system for each seating position driver and passengers alike can look forward to a true concert atmosphere on their next ride with the Mini Cooper Electric.

The standard "sports" seats look like this:

They share the part number with the 7 series, far more comfortable and adjustable than the base seats.

Thanks, I can honestly say I’ve never seen those (headrest version) on any of the 530d cars I’ve been looking at in the last few months, must be very bespoke, but do look awesome!!!

My 128ti didn't turn off the radio till you opened the door, I found this quite irritating. My M240i goes one further and doesn't stop until I've locked the car, it actually keeps playing if I lock using the app. Is there any way to change this behaviour?

Not sure.
My 440i does the same, it can be annoying.
I just make sure to lock with the key.

Press the ignition button again? Not 100% sure because I'm on autopilot now when I do it but I think first press stops engine, second press shuts everything down

My radio stays on if I open the door before turning the engine off. If the engine off is first then it turns off when the door opens.

On the F Series cars, one press to turn off the engine, another press to turn off the ignition.

On G Series cars you have to hold the power button for the radio instead of a second press of the start/stop button…

The double press worked thanks. Wish you had an option to remove that aswell as the double unlock for passenger door.

I quite like that bit though. One or the other I guess?
Do you mean the double unlock to open passenger door with key from outside, or to open it from the inside? If the former that's just an option in the lock options in idrive, fox is talking about trying to open a locked passenger door from inside

Here you go. This is a much better buy, much nicer spec!

Yeah when unlocking from outside. I went through all the settings and didn't see anything relevant.
