BMW and M Power Owners

How is this an option? It is surely standard.
Should have said rear heated seats.

Gotta keep all bums toasty.

Certainly enjoying the pre-heat function on these cool mornings, everything is toasty for departure :D

thats decent , but i dont have patience to drive like miss daisy got a few saves im going to enquire about tomorrow lunchtime , feels real odd going and seeing an empty space in the garage haha

Believe me, that's certainly not the result of driving like Miss Daisy all year

My renewal came through for my E92 M3. £338 for year vs £313 last year with RAC.

Was expecting much more based on what I have been reading.

I'm still waiting for my Z4 roof to be fixed after 6 weeks without a car due to various issues, and now I'm waiting for an auto electrician to look at it, but not until the end of the month.

What's the cheapest way to get access to a car for 3 weeks, a quick search on Enterprise who have a pick up point locally looks like about £470 for an Aygo, previously when I've been between cars I've just spent £500 on a beater with an MOT, but post covid that seems to be a harder thing to do.

Something weird happened to my car a couple of days ago.
The car is a 2014 335. The onboard memory seems to have been reset/wiped, as in all saved info like, Bluetooth pairing, saved radio stations, route planner etc is gone.
We had been driving for a few hours, stopped at McDonald's, and when we got back in the car, the screen was black with the car engine on. I turned the car on and off and everything was lost.
I'm wondering if I can reverse it, or if I should be concerned?
Can anyone offer me any insight on this?

Battery means no 7 seats. See my post on page 1013 listing our new 45e.

Options wise you really want:

- Comfort seats and HUD are a must.
- Heated seats with the heated wheel and armrests.
- Laser lights with adaptive high beam assist.
- 21" wheels.
- HK stereo
- Driving Assist pro if you can find it.
- Watch out for 2021 Covid cars with deleted options (HK, touchscreen, wireless charging).

Then get yourself on Octopus Go Intelligent. With the slow charging speed (or dropping it further on 3 pin) you can get some amazing extra cheap power. The other day I got 7.5p/kWh between 16.30 and 11:00 the next day :D

This one is very nice and almost identical to our one(but without towbar). But it has the 22s (21s are better), vented seats with massage, leather dashboard and soft close doors. Still a bit punchy on price, I'd want it for £45k.
Thanks, definitely don't want 22s. My last X5 had 20's with RFTs and the ride was awful. Still not sure I want another but they look like a decent step up from the F15 and the spec has improved a lot. Need to test drive one.
Don't care about heated rear seats as my kids sit in the back!

visited 2 dealers and neither seem interested in a deal via cash it seems all want me to finance , may have to look at that and clearing balance fast . kinda looked at a couple of 5 series too

It's been a great car but I've come to the age where I'm thinking more of comfort and practicality.

What options are must haves on the G-series?

The standard LED lights are not great and don't look that good either, so Visibility Pack to get to the better lights.

Head Up Display and Upgraded stereo are also important I think - so Technology Pack.

This was my minimum acceptable specification when I was buying. I ended up getting one with the Comfort pack as well but wouldn't be that bothered if I didn't have it.

Aye, the 21s look better, ride better and tyres are just cheaper. The Pirelli Pz4 run flats are pretty good actually.

But the ride is buttery smooth on 20" Vector 4 Seasons.

It's a huge step up from an F15.

Make sure for the test drive that they've put some charge in the battery and be prepared for the regen braking to be fairly aggressive. I love it as I hardly have to use the brake pedal and can drive it in a similar way to my old Honda Insight.

Having spoken to a few that have experienced both Adaptive LED and laser lights, they are saying there's not a lot in it. The LED lights are actually rather good.
The laser lights are definitely better, but I would put the HUD and upgraded stereo at higher priority.

On another matter, one thing I've found is that the park assist is a lot more cautious with proximity than my F30.

I do not agree. It isn't the laser that makes them better - it rarely activates - but the standard adaptive LED headlights have only a basic high beam assistant system which switches the high beam on or off. The upgraded lights in the Visibility Package have the adaptive high beam system which is a significant improvement and makes a big difference.

The adaptive high beam system is ridiculous when you watch it.

When going down twisty Scottish Highland roads over xmas following a few cars, the beam patterns were literally dancing around, leaving the car in front in a small shadow pocket.

I've had my G31 for a few weeks now and it's great!

I'm looking at changing the wheels as it's got the 18" 662m at the minute. My original plan was to get the 19" 664M as I'm not sure if the 20" are going to be too bad. It's like driving on a cloud at the moment with the 18's :D

My problem is I've found a set of mint 20" with almost new tyres and tpms for not much more than new tyres. I'm just worried I'll hate the ride difference after having it with the 18's on. I suppose my question really is 19's or 20?

I have adaptive high beam in my Merc, it's pretty good, I wouldn't want to be without it now. I drove an Audi with the matrix LED headlights and they were even better.
