BMW and M Power Owners

Thanks! I hadn't considered the star mark.
I recently replaced my tyres on my 530d from the star marked run flats to some PS5's and car is currently under AUC. It was in about a month later after some problems with the vibration dampener on the differential deciding to fall apart, had no issues with the claim.

What are peoples opinions on the X5 xDrive50e M Sport? I was thinking of getting one on CH through my business. I don't want an electric car and this seems to have a decent BIK tax for the renumeration structure i have.

Is an i5 , or it's touring version much more expensive than a X5 xDrive50e M Sport - what's not to like.
I won't be buying it.

I have a mental block about paying horrendous amounts of BIK tax but i'm ok with a 750 to 800 a month on a vehicle i don't own via my business, it's funny money if that makes sense.

Get positive reviews on the G05 forums. There's been a few issues with the hybrid drive and batteries, this should be ironed out soon.

Just coming to the end of a three year lease of the X5 45e. Brilliant car and will be ordering a 50e to replace. Its an improvement all round from reviews. Best of both worlds IMO and the 6 cylinder engine is a gem. With the ev motor on top its as fast as I ever need a SUV to be and is one of the best large hybrid SUV for BIK due to its impressive EV range.

If you want an SUV, do it. 6 Cylinder hybrid is the best of both worlds. My neighbour has one in Dravitgrau with extended Merino Tartufo and it's lush.
Other than the Q7 (which is about eleventy years old) and the Cayenne, everyone else has pathetic 4-pots.

And the BMW is smoother than the Cayenne and a comfier ride and dare I say, the engine sounds better. Audi is about a generation behind. Pathetic EV range on their hybrids which means big BIK. Nice cars but I aint paying £300 a mth more in tax to drive one over a bmw x5

I am fancying Dravit grey on my next one but not sure about Tartufo.

Last year my Left window regulator went, this year my right one has gone. The bloody joys! Last time i took it to an indy BMW specialist who charged 460ish and then i had to bring it back for adjustments as the window wasn't shutting all the way. This time i took it to a local garage (couple of hundred meters away) who said it's a BMW only part, order it and they'll fit it for £150ish. Rang BMW £192 for the part, asked them about fitting they said although it's clearly the regulator they have to charge a diagnostic fee of £150 then fitting/part on top.

Robbing B words.

It's really nice. I don't like the dark brown (mocha?) and it's not as light as the caramel/cinnamon. Try and find one in the flesh if you can.
I've always been a fan of funky interiors and black on black is just so boring, and I wouldn't want a light interior as I CBA to clean it all the time.

I guess regulators have a harder lifetime on frameless windows like his apparent 3GT - do they all jog a bit when you open the door.

...
audi phev's - VAG are updating phev battery sizes new passat will have 20Kwh, for eu 100KM autonomy tax break, so maybe this will filter through to audi suv's

I have my heart set on an m340i next year, as an upgrade from the m140i.

I love the b58, hence the m340i desire… but is that silly?! Surely I don’t need it, I typically potter about and seldom ‘use’ it well.

Should I be considering the 330, 320 or even the 330e? Or I might just regret the fact it’s not a m340i.

Argh

Ha, I have a similar challenge. I keep looking to replace my M2 Comp even though I don't drive much - put petrol in it the other day for the first time since January. Keep swinging between an M340 touring (mate has one, fabulous car), M3 Touring because wow, X3 M40/X3M etc.

None of them sensible choices.

M3T prices appear to be in free fall, AUC prices for low mileage UP cars went from £100k to £75k in the past 3 months. I'll likely get one when they're 3/4 years old if I can find a well optioned one in an individual colour.

Do it, mine’s 4 years in September and I’m considering chopping it in for another.
