Talent, I hide it well but there is talent there my mum told me!

Fox - how are your shadowline bits, etc, all so black? Do you put back-to-black (or equivalent) on every day or has it all been repainted/replaced at some point recently-ish? Also, have you ever thought about giving some style 66's a whirl to save a little on rubber and get a slightly softer ride? I could do you a swap. :)

I treat it a few times a year with Autoglym bumpercare.

I hate Style 66's with a passion, which is why I got rid of them in 2007 for the 37's :p

It's a bit more than that, feels like a race car on the road and feels very different to an M3 even if that's judged as a passenger. When it's run it I suspect it will go like **** off a shovel, feels tight and sorted, looks epic and is very very special, sounds like the devil and has immense presence.

I approve this advert.

It sounds truly awesome, but I'm struggling here. I don't know too much about the differences of high performance cars so I feel like I need to ask even if it makes me look like an idiot. :p

He's come from an M3, so I assume he wanted something quicker. Instead of spending £100k or whatever it is on a lighter M3 with bigger engine, why not buy an F10 M5 and save £30k? Or even the new M6? Or would they feel completely different to the GTS due to the way its built (i.e like a race car)?

Forgive me for the lack of knowledge. :o

I have a huge passion for BMW M cars, particularly the M3, and have owned several models and loved them all, but what I really want is the rawest most involving and thrilling M3 experience I can get. The GTS ticks all the boxes for me.

Did you really just ask why somebody who has bought a stripped out race car for the road did't decide to save money and buy a luxo-exec-super-saloon instead?

I know I have posted this in another thread, but here's a video of me trying to drive the beemer quickly around blyton park yesterday - thought it may be of interest to BMW fans:
