Soldato
Had a **** car day on Sunday.
Went out to enjoy the sunshine and get a drink/feed the ducks/whatever. When i started the car, the iDrive completely crashed and was unresponsive. Tried turning it off and leaving it to no avail. Was a bit annoyed, but meh, i was sure it can be fixed, either by leaving it or taking to the garage - no biggie.
Got to my destination, parked up, had my drink/fed the ducks/whatever and came back to the car. Started the engine and the iDrive had fixed itself! Hurray! Wait....why does it say i need to change my brake pads?? Ohhh no, it's actually saying there is a fault with one of the brake pad sensors. Great. Oh well, nevermind, BP sensors are cheap, no biggie.
Then i go to leave the car park only to scrape my side skirt whilst trying to leave a car park (there was a a massive incline for the exit - ridiculous to have in a car park). Stopped the car as soon as i heard the scrape. I didn't know whether to try and keep going or reverse. I reversed. Ripped off a couple of lugs, and it also ripped off the front jacking point on my car.
I was raging. It was such a moronic way to design a car park. Why oh why would you have such a hill/incline at the exit of a car park?!
And as usual, fixing cosmetic stuff on cars is often much more expensive than fixing mechanical
