People will tell you you need to run them at higher pressure due to the tyres having softer sidewalls, which is logical, but also barmey.

I found on my 18" alloys that around 38-39psi rear and 35-36pis front gave the best feeling/grip and also wore very evenly.
 
One new thermostat housing and coolant. 250 to match my warranty excess as a goodwill from the manager so cant argue with that.
 
Fair enough, I hadn't noticed the lights to be honest.

My 'must haves' are Cruise/Bluetooth/Sat Nav.

I'm going to look at a few 1 and 3 series in the next few days.
 
Yeah, you could do a LOT better a car for £21k to be honest, albeit perhaps a little older. My shortlist would be Cruise / Bluetooth / USB / Pro Nav / Leather / Xenons.

Should be able to hit all that in budget I would have thought.

Changed the ARB drop links tonight, greased up the calipers and tried to fix a heat shield rattle that turns out to be a silencer/cat on the downpipe full of broken stuff....

got me looking at this tonight though :( I know it's a pre facelift......but it's been well cared for.

You had better go and see one IRL mate, they are not as good as they look in pictures in my opinion.

The range really steps up at 5-series level these days, with the cars below this being quite disappointing given how expensive they are.
 
Ok iv whittled it down to 2 Z4M's

Black 07 plate with mid hi-fi, no nav 50k miles.
Silver 06 plate with basic hi-fi, business nav, 45k miles

I prefer the silver colour, I prefer the black spec....

Very difficult to make up my mind
