BMW and M Power Owners

Inside pics/spec etc? Looks like no auto lights/wipers and thus, no xenons too?

been looking at modified American e60s, do we have no appetite for mods? Think mine would sound awesome with a stainless full exhaust. Would mondial put up with aftermarket mods?

What a good idea, I can't see why more people don't fit loud aftermarket exhuasts to otherwise completely standard SE specification 5 Series BMW's,

I saw a Vectra diesel on one of my walks home recently drive past and up a side road. It had a modified exhaust and on the approach it sounded like a diesel.....as it pulled away it was a mixture of dagdag and some kind of racket.

Not cool.

My 330ci sport has got projector headlights, headlights washers and every time I start the engine with the lights on they go up and down - they self adjust.
That being said, is there any reasons why I shouldn't buy a 4300k Xenon Canbus kit off ebay? If so then any recommendations?

I am being serious - it shouldn't cause any inconvenience to other traffic participants and should also pass an MOT.

They don't self adjust - they simply self-test the electric levelling operation, a feature which you control manually inside the car using the wheel beside the instrument cluster.

No reason whatsoever, its the projectors which are important and you have those.

It is pretty much a standard model, couldn't be affording one with all those bells & whistles!. It's just nice to have a car that feels like it is built well, and that is a pleasure to drive. I am pretty blinkered now. Cannot see myself going for another manufacturer in the future. Hopefully when I get my career back on track and get out of the normal pay life then I can look and getting something that will fit in better with some of the pics in this thread. But at the end of the day, it is my first BMW and I love it!.

Will try and get some better pictures at some point.

Behold the most expensive engine-cover sticker ever:

Car is a monster now, and the extra torque really helps make the car even more drivable (6th gear @ 25-30MPH is now possible and hugely economical: getting 48MPG under those conditions).

6th gear, 60MPH at 2KRPM-2.2KRPM has a slight resonance in the cabin, but this is a mild noise akin to the original OEM standard sound (which was on 24/7).

Just dropping in to post a question:

How do you chaps find driving in winter? With snow/ice, is it hang up the keys and walk to the bus stop or do you manage to make your regular daily commutes?

With the winters I've had around my way the past couple of years, it's a worry! Having the car for my commute is a must.

I work in the middle of North Yorkshire, one some roads I travel, there is little hope for a 4x4, let alone a performance RWD car... (train, use AL/Flexi or miss work).

If there is snow then wide summer tiyres are painful. To be honest, if you want to be worry free just have look on ebay, get yourself 4 rims of the smallest size that will fit the car, buy 4 winter tires and you'll be able to tackle decent snow without much hassle.
If done right with a bit of research the above shouldn't cost more than £5-700 and you can change them yourself whenever you feel like. In the long term it works out at at the same price as you won't be using your summer tires in the winter anyway.

4x4s don't do too well on wide summer tires either.

I know they're staggered, that's not what I meant! In the last pic it looks slanted!

Can't believe I'm breaking out PS for this but:
