BMW and M Power Owners

Any Z4 owners (or others I guess) with runflats? I've got Bridgestone RE050A's up front with plenty of tread, I think these are standard fit on the Z4C but the rear tyres are ditchfinders. Pretty amazing I know that someone would risk it but there you go, they are basically brand new but I'm not driving my first ever RWD car with these on the back!

Basically I'm weighing up replacing just the rears with Bridgestone RE050A's @ ~£500, or replacing all 4 with non runflat CSC5/F1's etc @ ~£650. But then If I do get a puncture, I'm buck rogered.

Opinions?

I changed my runflats to Goodyear Eagle F1AS2 all round. Made a difference, but not night and day. Still, if you're going to change them you might as well change them all to non runflats.

This is what a 3 series coupe has always been

Did confuse myself a little though, thought this is nowhere near as nice as the one I was drooling over the other week, then I remembered that was a 2 not a 4.

The E90 and E92 are not as similar looking as the 3 series is to the 4 series. I expected BMW to stick close to the concept, but they haven't.

How much do you reckon these tyres are worth?
They have around 6-7mm of tread at the front, and 7mm at the rear.
Fronts - 225/40/18 - Bridgestone RE050 Runflats
Rears - 255/35/18 - Michelin Pilot Sport Zero Pressure

I like that 328, looks really clean and the wheels suit it. I thought the S52 was for the American market only? Might as well stick an S50 in there if you're feeling adventurous!

BMW have released the engine details for the M4 and M3 "sedan". Pretty much confirms what everyone thinks/know. 6 cylinder high revving turbo engine. For some reason I can't paste the link I've got.

Kind of looks like its an twin turbo version of the N55 engine.

Heres the link:

Twin turbo, >7500rpm redline, looking good....and better yet......6 speed manual transmission, although it doesn't say whether or not thats for the North American market only.

Carbon fibre propshaft too, nice.

Rather than create its own thread and run the risk of making it look like a "Buy My Car" thread, I thought I'd ask the experts in here.*

I'm currently selling my Z4 and have only had 2 bites, is the advert rubbish? Have I priced it wrong? I know it's not the season for convertibles, but to only have 2 phonecalls has got me thinking I'm doing something wrong.

Any C&C on the ad would be gratefully appreciated:

*Apologies if this instead appears to be a "Buy My Car" post.

It looks well priced for a 2005 car; I'm sure it's mainly due to the change in season. Personally I'd put the price at 6995 just to get it starting with a 6 as its a psychological thing with a lot of buyers. Then just hold out.

Looking to buy a bmw M3

What you lot think of this car:

BMW M3 2dr DCT 4.0 EDC
2011 Coupe 13000 miles
£37,994

£35,000

Good some good options, H/K Speakers, Heated seats, Tints, USB, Bluetooth, DAB, Sensors, Online portal and 19" alloys

What you lot think ?
The one i posted before, I didn't go and see it.

Sounds nice apart from the colour. Alpine or Mineral white?

It's Mineral White

Ok thats a good colour :) Looks so much better than Alpine when its clean and the sun is shining.

Regarding spending 35k on it, as long as you're comfortable with the impending depreciation on the car, then go for it. Personally I feel the E92 M3 is a much better car all round than the C63, and you can't get a B8 RS4 for 35k yet.
